I know I might be playing the devil's advocate here, but I heard the story of the stormtroopers being left over clones, and it made sense to me. It was explained to me that the Stormtroopers can't shoot as well as the original clone army the Jedi had because they were third and fourth-generation clones (and you know what happens when you make a copy of a copy of a copy . . .) Although I was also told that due to the quality of the stormtroopers failing, that the Empire did recruit some new guys to make fresh clones. Obviously if the new guys aren't as good as Jango was, then their clones will also be inferior. This also explains how there could have possibly been a trooper short enough to fit Luke, if they're not all clones of the same guy. or it could have been a clone so far removed from the original that it had degenerated to that point.
I also feel compelled to point out that GL has agreed to let people write certain stories into the EU before and then done something completely different in the movies. Witness the entire back-story of Boba Fett. There were no clones in the book I read.

the thing is with a stormtrooper outfit is the the plating isnt connected and its connected by some material so in a way it still could fit luke a little it may have been a little big for him but it would also make him appear smaller than other storm troopers
but my opinion doesnt mean i dismiss other peoples beacause theres still the fact that even though leia noticed him being smaller the death star crewmen didnt seem to notice so that could back up that there were other clones made from different people even though thats a point for that theory i also provide one against anakin(darth vader) and the emperer obviously knew where the clones came from (jengo fett) why didnt they just hire boba fett (him being a clone of jengo the original host to the clone army) to clone himself giving a fresh new army of clones

That is a very good observation! I would have said that there is a height requirement for stormtroopers (so the Imperial Central Supply would only need to make one size of uniform armour), but this new info blows away that theory- LOL!

anakin(darth vader) and the emperer obviously knew where the clones came from (jengo fett) why didnt they just hire boba fett (him being a clone of jengo the original host to the clone army) to clone himself giving a fresh new army of clones Because you still would have had the problem of it being a copy of a copy. Boba was closer to the original, but he still wasn't actually Jango. And besides, what if Boba refused? (though, admittedly, when the Emperor asks you to do something, it's fair hard to say no.)

why is it that both Jango and Boba both die kinda quick. iguess it could symbolize that the life of a scum doesn't pay or ....

They both die quickly but they both live pretty long... I don't know Jango's age when he lost his head, but he was no kid - Boba would be about, hmmm, around 35 (very rough guess) when the Sarlacc munches on him. And of course if you're an EU fan, Boba is still alive, (likely) survived the Vong War... Oh well, bounty hunting doesn't pay I guess...

In the director's commentary audio on the ROTJ dvd, George said that he killed off Boba Fett because he was one of Jabba's "minions". George went on to say that at the time he filmed the movie, he had no idea how popular Boba Fett would become- Boba was one of the bad guys after all. He also mentioned that for the dvd, he considered putting in an added scene of Boba flying out of the Sarlaac pit after the battle was over, but didn't feel it was necessary as no one believes that Boba is really dead anyway.

Yeah, if you go to Starwars.com and go into the Databank and look at the EU of Boba Fett, it says there that he survived the Sarlacc . . .
"Fett's armor and body were extremely battered by his ordeal in the Sarlacc. When he plunged into the beast, he was kept alive by numerous fibrous suckers that attached themselves to his body. This was part of the Sarlacc's horrible metabolic process; it would keep its prey alive for thousands of years, all the while slowly feeding off it. Fett almost lost his identity in the swirling dementia brought about by the Sarlacc's toxins. His resolve held, and he used his weapons to blast free of the beast.
Naked, wounded, and defenseless on the sands of Tatooine, Fett was rescued by his fellow hunter Dengar, who nursed him back to health. Fett reclaimed his armor and his reputation, returning from the "dead," and again taking on bounties. It wasn't until six years after the Battle of Endor that Han Solo learned his nemesis was still alive."
So I guess Boba is the Elvis of Star Wars, eh?
