But always remember... according to the Jedi code....making your own lightsaber is the last step to becoming a Jedi Knight...
So I covered all bases.....made my own....bought a non-working Park's saber for show...and have a bunch of Hasbro electronic sabers for horsing around.

I'd reccomend a Parks Saber blade, if you're trying to decide...from what I've heard they're very sturdy, and you can run over them with your car and the blades won't break...they're especially made for combat. ;D

[glow=blue,2,300]Humm, Lightsabers. I have gotten my hands on two sabers. One a Jedi had given me, and my own. Both have been in duels. At a recent mini-co0onvention (Aug 10) a guy dressed as Anakin Skywalker wanted to duel and asked to borrow one of my sabers cuz it looked better then his. LOL!!!!. I had a blast. I've have never ever dueled w/a saber in my life. . Found out later, that my stances, hand grip and blocks were correct. Now to find some people to practice saber sparring with. Where can i post my pictures? I haven't a website to link you too. Jauhzmynn [/glow]

That is one thing I need desperately....someone to practice lightsaber with....NO ONE I know is into that sort of thing...can't wait till we Assemble the Assembly....I will be able to practice with someone... I have been practicing the different zones....and practiced a little twirling....but going against someone would be the best practice of all!
Lets see....attack 1...parry 5.....and so on...
Yep...I need a sentient being to practice with!

[glow=blue,2,300]That's my problem Schch, RThe people here either aren't into this, or aren't evne physcially fit to take me on. I take care of an elredly woman for my job, her son though he could duel. When he saw Anakin and I dueling at a convention, he changed his mind real fast. . Oh well, NP. There are Medivel people, but transpo is a problem. So I'm sunk and I've no Seeker droid. May I borrow one? Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for conventions. jauhzmynn[/glow]

Believe it or not...I have a seeker droid.....
They had a toy at the time of the release of Phantom Menace that looked like the droids that Darth Maul sent in search of the Queen on Tatooine.... The thing is electronic and comes with a lightsaber that is also electronic....the droid is suppose to seek the lightsaber and then propel foam disks that you are supposed to deflect.....
Too bad it doesn't work very well.....oh it spins around and beeps and all that good stuff....but it takes forever to launch a foam disk and it launches it in the wrong direction.....thankfully the toy was on sale for dirt cheap.... Well, at least it LOOKS cool!!!
Plan on attending the Assemly of the Assembly in 2004 if you can...we will meet in Indianapolis... We can practice!!

I have the seeker droid to! lol.... i had to wait like a year and a half to get it because i didnt want to pay the price they were asking. I finally got it on sale one day. Mine works fine. to fine.... the disc come out so fast i usually get hit in the head or something lol. My non-star wars friends are scared of the thing. They give me that look like "your insane" and walk away from it.... Personally i thought it's a great toy and i keep it in my living room lol. My next shooter toy is that arm band they have for Jengo Fett..... has anyone seen that?
