Sberbelt on 10/12 I asked you if I should wrap the money in paper the reason for this is to hide the money so the post office thinks its a present and not money.Sorry I didnt explain to you. Now you know.

I have heard nothing but good things about Dave of Saberbelt from everyone else. Pau-Sol obviously didn't handle things well with him. He sounds much younger than his profile says he is. His posts about this were very juvenile.
I myself had a great experience dealing with Dave. He was very helpful, sending me an email to make sure he knew just what I wanted, when I seemed a bit confused about something. Then I received my order quicker than I thought possible. And the quality was oustanding. I'd recommend his site to anyone.
He's also a great guy to talk to. I've chatted with him on AIM.
Anyway, here are some pictures of the belts I've made that are in my Yahoo Photo album. My Food Capsules were given to me by Zhi-Don.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jediloreen/album?.dir=/Leather+Work&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jediloreen/my_photos

Nice looking belt - looks close to the color of Obi Wans boots. Is that 1 color or did you have to combine colors?
Say what you will - my favorite belt that I make for customers is the Mahogany color I have with Antique Brass Rivets - it just looks cool. I am working on one for a customer now and will post up some pics tomorrow

Thanks Dave.
That's one color. It's called latigo. It might be mispelled though.
Those flat rivets made me nuts. (What I used to keep the belt keepres attached.)

Nice belts. I've used flat rivets in places on my belt, too. It helps that I have an anvil (aka a piece of railroad tie) to use to hammer them. My husband has made SCA armor, so that's what the anvil's for.
I have some of Saberbelt's screw-in post rivets that I'll use next time a make a belt.
I will add that Dave's service was perfect. Ordering was easy on the website and the pieces arrived promptly. I also ordered his dished covertec knobs, which I also haven't installed yet!

As promised - Mahogany with Brass Rivets: Close Up Pics - www.saberbelt.com/MatthewSProject.htmlI am not crazy about the plastic buckles but it is what the person wanted....... I wasn't sure about the saber hook at first - but it actually looks real good on there. What do you think? Dave

Actually - they are all screw back rivets - no hammer needed I have a small anvil that I use when punching holes and I use to use that with a setter for flat rivets before I switched to all screw backs. Dave
