My friends you don't need to go to a store and add attachments to a belt for a good jedi belt. I can take orders to make them. My wife and I have our own business that does custome clothing and leatherwork and jewlery. If you'd like check my profile and mail me for more details. It cost $20 for a basic belt at a store. But we can make them with all the attachments for at the most $50 or $60. And it may even be possible to get it carved.

I have a belt tutorial I can e-mail to anyone interested. It doesn't have any pics, but it is extremely easy to understand. I also found some great Pentel pencaps I use for food capsules. They are Pentel Metal Tip 0.7mm ball point item #BL17-A.

I am a little technology challenged and don't have a web site to post pictures to. But what I will try to do is take some digital pictures and e-mail them to you. I noticed that your e-mail appears in your profile.
If you look at my photo on the member's page...you can kinda see the boots in the picture...but I will make an attempt at a better photo and e-mail it to you sometime this week.

I will patiently await your e-mail. Oh, and I already asked this in another forum, but did you recently have a birthday?

Yes....that's a Park's....but it is a non-working saber...just a prop. I did make my own saber...but it is kinda heavy so I rarely hang it on the belt.

Yeah, I made my own too. Mostly because it cost a lot less....besides, a Jedi should make his/her own, I believe.

Making your own lightsaber is a Padawan's final step before becoming a Jedi......it is a must!

I have instructions for constructing a lightsabre like the one I carry. Total cost is around $40. I can e-mail them to anyone who is interested. (The thread is titled "belts" and we've kinda strayed from that, but oh well......)

I used an old police belt, flat leather (not basket weave) and colored it with brown spray leather dye. Bought the spray dye at a leather shop, works EXCELLENT. You do need to take off the slick sheen, or "newness" before painting. Don't buy expensive stuff meant for this, the same ingredient is what's in Nail Polish Remover. I didn't do it on one pouch, and after awhile it started flaking with "wear." The rest are still perfect. At an Army/Navy surplus store, belt $14, extra pouches that slide right onto belt, $2 each- pouches are already "custom made" for various police items- for me, I have one each for my keys, money and driver's license, and then one to carry club business cards, breath mints, etc. Eliminates need for a purse when doing costumed events. The police belt fastens in the back, so you don't have "earth-type" buckles showing. Found a pair of $1 shoes at the thrift store with a perfect set of "buckles" to decorate the front of my belt: bought a smokey-bear hat band at the A/N surplus store and slid these buckles onto it. Leather glue, and it attatches to front center (later, tho, I found a buddy who stitched it in place for me permanently... a little more peace of mind). I haven't looked for any pen caps, but found some intersting-shaped buttons, and along with some glue sticks cut in half, I have these painted and attatched to my belt. Also found some buttons at the fabric store that are half-rounds and look like hematite. I cut four Xs into my belt, pushed the buttons in with some glue, and they look like studs holding the hat band in place. This was quite easy to do, and the man at the leather shop was very helpful in showing me the kind of cement to use, the tip about about the remover, and the dye, which is easy as spray painting. Used the same stuff on my boots, too.
