He's heard from him in the last month, Zann?
Neither AMP nor I have been able to reach him.

At this point I think reparations are in order. I have his Miami address. Anyone live in the area? I'm a few hours away ;D

I don't do the Star Wars thing (although I do have all 6 episodes on DVD and own the Stars Wars edition of Trivial Pursuit. Hope that's qualification enought to participate here ... This seems to be the best place for potential contact for Carlos though. I ordered some riding boots from him back end of April. I've been emailing him for the past 4-5 days and have heard nada. I'm pretty concerned that he is no longer a registered user on Ebay. Also (live and learn) I found out that with Ebay you have to log a dispute within 60 days. Well from, what I had heard I never expected him to have them done faster than that. Which is OK - I don't mind waiting if I actually get the boots. Anyone here have a phone #, alternate email? Any idea where he is?

Unfortunately, he seems to only answer emails from a select few. I have been trying to get hold of him form close to two months about correcting the errors he made on my boots. It seems that I will have to have them fixed locally. I hope it works out for you.

I called ebay to see if there was anything that could be done. They pretty much said if he's no longer a registered ebay member then not a whole lot. PayPal requires you dispute w/in 45 days. Sigh. But ... (maybe) fortunately, I paid with Amex through PayPal. Ebay suggested I file a dispute with Amex and they would work with PayPal to try to get this resolved. I did call Amex and they are working on a dispute resolution. So if anyone paid with a credit card then that may be one way to go about at least getting their money back. Which still leaves me without boots and cubbing season is fast approaching. May the force be with the fox!

I think he lives in Guatemala and comes to Miami to ship the boots through out the states.

I saw a pair of boots I wanted from him...but his site has disappeared... Good thing. My padawan bought me a pair of white boots and I am modifying them for my Battle padmae.....they fit great and for 1/10 the price of Diaz boots..... I have made the template for the shinguards and hopefully they will look canon......

What are the chances he's changed his business practices for the better? I'm still waiting for him to answer my emails!

I hope he hooks you up, Tony. Maybe he'll hit his back-log now that he's apparently got his shipping issues resolved. At least he hasn't fallen off the face of the earth.

Well he emailed me today. Says he's been dealing with some personal problems but is still in business and says my boots will be shipped at the end of the month.
I'm not going to stop the Amex inquiry yet though.
I'll post here if/when I receive them.
