Well we did the pet thing how about the tatoo thing. Somelike it some don't some think its defacing youre body. What do you think and do you have one. I do on the back of my neack it is ying and yang with two dolpins over it on the light side a blue on on the dark side a red one. To remind me their canot be good with out bad happy without sad ect. A balance is always needed.

That sounds cool, Jade! I don't have any tattoos, but I have my ears pierced 5 time in one ear, and 6 in the other.

I have my ears pierced only once in each ear...don't really plan on getting more....but I want a tattoo. (No chance of my getting one anytime soon, though! ;D )

I've got 2 tattoos planed. I just need to make sure to find a place that compleatly sanitary and come up with the money. One of them is going to be an ankle braclet design started by my original RP group. whenever we had hard times we'd signal each other with the symbol to signafy were friend and that you'll never get lost as long as you have us. The other is a tiger's paw outstreached, claws bared and 3 of the claws scratching into my skin leaving 3 scars. I'm also thinking about a third one but i dont know where to put it yet. I'm thinking of getting the celtic rune Tir put on me somewhere. Tir is the god of war and justice. I used to have a rune with him on it, but it got lost. If i get a tattoo i wouldnt have to worry bout it anymore. I like Tir. I find him encuraging...

Keewl the piercing thing is keewl I have three on the L two on the right wanted more on the L but will wait. Want another tatoo actually I have three in mind A tinkerbell armband like she is flying and leaving pixie dust, One of my daughters nick name was tinkerbell because she was 3lbs 3oz at birth and the size of a laydown beanie baby, then maybe stitch from lilo and stitch but I cant decide between alien stitch or dog stich, He reminds me of my other daughter I affectianatly call her my sith child, only in love, I'm thinkin of gettin the Jedi trainning acadamy logo on my lower back maybe or somewere else. My friend says I should get a barcode tatooed under it.

I am un-pierced, and un-inked, not into unecessary poking by needles thanks, this ink thing is a later generation than mine, only inmates & sailors did that when I was young!

Wel.....as usual....I seem to be the wild child here....
got a tatoo on my left leg near the ankle....
it is a griffen (or gryphon or griffin)....I love it!
I selected the design from the TV show "Angel" ...it is a variation of the griffin tatoo on Angel's back.
The tatoo artist did a fabulous job....very thin lines....it is just black (and white from my leg...of course) and has a red eye......
If I had the money...I would get one more on my shoulder blade....and that would be a tatoo of R2D2 with the Rebel Alliance logo and the words "Rebel Alliance" under it.....maybe some day...
no piercings...except for two on each ear.....
saw someone get their tongue pierced when I went for my tatoo....NO WAY!!!!

My dad is retired navey and never did get the tatoo thing I can respect his opinion. He is obviosly older and has a diffrent generational experience. I'm sure ill have the same feelings about things when I get older. The tounge thing thought about it then thought no way. How do you eat spagettie?

I have 2 tattoos. got them both in the Marine Corps. Both are hidden from the general public, so i have yet to regret them. I plan on getting one more. A Marine Corps tattoo with my unit signature in it. Just havent found the right design yet.

My brother got his tounge pierced [along with another body part]. he said once the swelling went down it really wasnt that bad lol. From what i hear, some chicks really dig guys with pierced tongues. They also said guy's with piecred thingys [lol i cencerd myself] can be good thing to. Of coarse the guy populous has said the same thing about girls lol. I have no exsperience in these matters, nor do I ever plan to lol. i cant even pierce my ears let alone thing about piercing something else. I'll stick to tattoos. I know I can servive needles... ever since my car accident where i had to get 2 shots a day for like 4 months... Needles don't bother me anymore. they say it's not bad when the needle is hitting just skin and fat.. it's when it hits bone that it really hurts. lol...

I got both ears pierced. The lady that did it didn't realize I only wanted one side done. Oh well, one side closed up, and fortunately for me it was the "gay" side. So now I only have one piercing, and it's the one I wanted.  I don't think I'll ever get any more though, that's too wierd. And tatoos wouldn't look good with a Midieval knight's costume, so I'm not doing that either.
PS Czewie, you said you like Tir? Do you know any good links to learn more about him? My favorite gods so far are Mars and Apollo. (The Roman gods of war and wisdom respectively.) But I'd like to learn more about the Celtic gods.

You can read a little about him in any book about celtic runes. Lutma would be a better source to figure out where to go to learn about him lol. just look for the rune that looks like an arrow.

I don't think I'll ever get any more though, that's too wierd. And tatoos wouldn't look good with a Midieval knight's costume, so I'm not doing that either.
