It's been a while since I finished a new lightsaber!! Here is my latest. I'm sure many of you have already seen it on other forums, but just in case! It uses a P4 blue led; led and sound powered by an UltraSound v2.5. If I ever get around to wiring it up, the anti-vandal switch has a glowing green ring around it.

Nice saber dude. Great work. The brass and black look great together. Love the anti-vandle button idea.

I wish it were brass! It is actually aluminum painted gold! I've wanted to do another gold with black hilt for a long time now.

Is brass more expensive or harder to work with than aluminum? I don't know a whole lot about metals and their properties.

I have some brass on my steampunk saber. It is more expensive.

Here is a recent commission from one of my cousins. A simple design with a leather-wrapped grip and yellow blade.

Here is my MHS based Luke ROTJ V2. Out of all the sabers I have owned, this one is my unicorn, and my favorite. I would never, ever sell this. New Ultra Saber Prophecy: I've posted about having dropped my 3 year old Parks saber and that it no longer works. I found the phone number and may still try to salvage it if they are willing to attempt repair. However, last Monday I impulsively took advantage of a sale at Ultra Sabers. My Rebel Legion branch has some very high profile events coming in the next few weeks and I felt the need for a working illuminated saber. The Prophecy was both on sale and available for immediate delivery. They were serious. It shipped on Wednesday and arrived yesterday. I am much pleased with it. The blade is very bright, brighter than the Parks. The hilt is a bit shorter but fits my smaller hands perfectly. It is also lighter and doesn't drag my belt down in the way the heavier Parks did. The design is pleasingly simple and fits my taste in saber hilts. Based on this one experience with them, I can definitely and strongly recommend Ultra Sabers. I'd even think it a good deal to pay full price for this saber. Photos public.fotki.com/Kait/star_wars/ultrasabers-prophecy/I modded it a bit with the addition of some o-rings, to break up the look of the metal just a little. This photo was taken in daylight, with sun coming through the window

Yes, I dropped it on concrete and it no longer works.... hence the postings about Parks.
Thanks for the tip. I called. He called back and left a nice message. I'm sending the QV back for his attempt at repair.
