heres a photo of my current collection. I have 3 more but they've recently become unusable (apparently rubber O rings degrade over time). all of these are hand made, the first 3 are Vader, Obiwan, Quigon. any one care to make guesses at the last 2?

Actually from the picture, it appears that there's 1 vader, 1 Anikan skywalker E3, QuiGon then Darklady and Leia Solo.

not sure how you got anakin in the second, but you're right with the dark lady. and I thought that'd be the hard one... last one is still open to guesses!

Lycanshinobi of deviantART.com created these fantastic renderings from an image of my Rahm Kota saber hilt he found on google. This was created in Cinema 4d R10. Original artwork can be found at lycanshinobi.deviantart.com/ (used by permission from artist) ~ Koda

Just tought I'd share the "upgrade" I did on my graflex. It got a new "Makoto" style blade - LED string, ladder style, in parallel. very bright and removable. no flash: with flash: I'll be working on adding a proper controller for the blade soon.

Here's a video of it with my self-made controller. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3E6DVmd4DSUthe controller makes fade in, fade out and shimmering. I'll add some impact sensor at some point, but I don't want this one to have sound, as I'll be using it as a nightlight (unless I decide its just TOO bright - is there such thing as too bright when it comes to sabers? anyway, its really bright)

Hello. I've really enjoyed reading this forum, so in the spirit of things here is my first saber. This project began because my son desperately wanted a double-bladed white lightsaber so that he could be "the goodest jedi in the whole universe" like Darth Maul was the baddest. My wife set me a budget of $20 for the double-bladed saber, so homemade was the only way. I made his out of two small sink tubes with angle cut PEP pipe to join them at the hilts (pics forthcoming: he has the saber at a sleepover.) Then he wanted me to duel with him, so I made this one for $12 plus shipping: First saber galleryThe nice thing about this one is that it is cheap, withstands moderate dueling, and looks okay. I like clean sabers so I'd probably do others in this same general style. I have some heatsink-mounted cree LEDs, but this one is powered by a cheap flashlight that works well enough for our evening battles in the yard. Thanks for all the inspiration!
