Memphis is cool...did you tour Graceland? Beale Street...spelling is wrong, but it's the street with all of the food & music. We should coordinate a Jedi 'field trip' where we all meet in Memphis and hang for the weekend. I hear that there is alot of sith activity in the area....!

Sith activity--- lol!! Yes, I had to see Graceland... I couldn't pass through without! It was impressive. I had to hear Elvis music for a couple of days afterward! One of my sisters is a big Elvis fan. She once went out with a guy just because he could sing Elvis songs really well.

So now I've got 2 kids going to college next Fall! The plans are in motion! Adam (age 17) has decided to attend Full Sail near Orlando, Florida. We visited it this past weekend and it seems to be everything he wants. He's going for Digital Arts and Design. Andrew (20) will be going to Cal Arts, in Valencia, CA, just north of L.A., for Character Animation. Thank goodness for financial aid and student loans! And thank goodness it will be 5 more years until the youngest has his turn at college!! I'm not ready to have all of them gone!!

Oh, wow! Congratulations, Leda! I know it's probably really hard on you to watch your sons leave the nest and move away, but it can also be incredibly rewarding...or...@ least, I hope it's rewarding...yes?
Anyway, congrats!

I just arrived home after a wonderful weekend in Montreal! Got to see Olos, Primrodo, Stey-Fann, Corja, and all their significant others! It was Olos' daughter's first birthday! The city itself is lovely and next time I swear I will see more of it (hmmm, that's what I said last time)! The drive through NY state is very scenic... I drove through several snow squalls... the down side was that the roads were so nice that I got a speeding ticket. My first ever!

Did you wave your hand and try to get out of it?

I was too nervous to do that. I was going 86 in a 65mph zone... I was guilty. But the road was just so smooth and straight up and down hills that curved around bends in the trees... Adirondack state park... and it was empty... and I was singing...
