Yeah, us girls have problems in more ways then one. Although did anyone notice the product placement? (Deit coke):-D hehehe Suspenders for stunts makes a good idea. however , for me, I'd not use 'em. Although, if the button pops off during a stunt. How embarassing. LOL (Maybe THATs the reason for those suspenders. :-)( back up when there's button failure.)

In Karate we got breaks to fix our clothes... but I had no trouble with the pants, it was the top of the gi that would get all bunched up and uncomfortable. Had to keep pulling it down. But I can see how the guys would need the suspenders during an agressive fight scene or stunt. Makes sense and it's much more practical under the costume than a belt. They don't need to be losing their pants in the middle of a scene! ;D

I sawa pair of natural colored (creamish) Raw silk(SIlk Noil) pants at the local thrift store for $1. :-) When I can, I'll get them.
I wonder fi they'll match the cream set fo tunics? They'd be a goo addition to my reitoir of pants. They'er too big, but with some alteratins they'll fit nicely.

I found a pair of Cotton Pants at Target today for about...12.99 They are textured to a sand color and have cargo pockets on the thighs. I actually like this look with my "Obi Wan" costume cause it actually gives it a very "Utilitarian" style, plus they don't look like traditional "Cargo Pants" About leggings.....um...ok...women look great in them but I'm not goin anywhere near them. my figure is not a flattering one...actually it's a "Fattering one."

Mine too, but my tunics are usually a bit longer than Obi Wan's. Not much leg to show between boots and tunic on me.

I found a nice pair of pants at the thrift shop last week for 3 dollars. Not sure of the fabric, but they're beige and crinkly, and they fit just right, not baggy(I don't like baggy under my tunics). And they're way too short for me, which is perfect for shoving into boots! I lucked out for once!

Just a report about the suspenders: I ordered a great set of "lumberjack-type" suspenders from davidmorgan.com/ and attached buttons to both pairs of pants I took to CIII. I also removed the belt loops from the pants with a seam ripper. The suspenders worked out great and I felt so much more comfortable than I have in the past. It may not sound like much, but just removing that one layer of bulk (the pants belt) made a huge difference. Also, my pants stayed put better. I was afraid I would feel more restricted with the suspenders, but they're two inches wide and made of a bulky elastic material (which also happened to match my tunic perfectly, not that you could see it) and I couldn't even tell they were there. CIII was a great test and I'm pleased with the results.

I ended up using a pair of work-out pants that I use for fencing in. They're a pair of Starter Dri-Star I picked up at Walmart.

Humm, I have some beige colored pants called "Jodpers" What ever those are.) Also differant colors of stretch pants. They stay in the boots nicly. I don't wear baggy things either. they tend to get caught on things. I used ti use the dockers but the legs kept pulling out of the boots. Unless I snag a pair longer then what I need and make the legs more form fitting and add a sturrup to the bottom.
