As much as I love Star Wars I am guessing it is time to branch into other areas of other movies that I like. However, I will always have a soft spot for Star Wars. This was for an event I did with my brothers and sisters in the Mos Nooga Squad. We dressed up for the Chattanooga Symphonic Orchestra when they played music from other movies we did some cosplay. Yes, I did get to wear the Jedi some for the event. Thanks to my big sister Charleen for the help with the vest and the wig.

Nice Hagrid!! My next project I am working on is the Repo-Man from Repo! The Genetic Opera....made with duct tape. Just like I did my Dr. Steel for this year If you're not familiar with Repo, here's the character I am doing

Wow, you're going to make that costume with duct tape? Impressive...I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Terrific Hagrid! Such a lovable half-giant. It's a big world of costuming out there. Lots of room to play.

My next non SW is going to be 12th C. Byzantine for my Medieval groups next big event which is Coronation, and that's the chosen theme for this year. Well, it's one way to use up alot of fabric and trim that I've bought and not used over the last few years, either because I liked it, or got it for a project and bought alot extra. I am always buying fabric, so, I feel a need to use some of it. I was thinking of doing my heraldic garb, but I guess that's not for this time, even if I am thinking of doing the cloak for this event with my Arms on it, it would be in the same theme, but a ton of work to do, I did buy a bunch of black silk on sale one day, so, I might do it, full circular w/ the arms double mirrored from the back center, agghhhh! At least the rest is simple, tunic over tunic, lots of trim and a turban-esque headpc, lots of jewels. Of course someone will call me in the middle and need a rush something and ........well Coronation is 1/16, so we'll see what happens. I'm still threatening to do Dolores Umbridge for a DCon, I think I'd be good at that, though I'd do it more like the book, hem, hem......

Hey Orion, that really is a great Hagrid, for some reason, I wasn't getting any images on this thread, but now working again. Well, the Vikings are back on the table, still don't know the shoot date, but they paid for the rental, got the check a day before Christmas, THANK YOU GLITZIANA!!! That is taking care of several overdue things.

I'm gonna have to venture into the 'period costume' arena whenever I end up moving production for my next film project forward. Still haven't decided between renaissance and Colonial for the setting, though...

Hmmmm, I'd pick Colonial. I don't think they have corsets, or at least not as severe as those for Renaissance.
You do Vikings, Nova? I have friends who do Vikings. The were 'extras' on a History Channel thing once. And they just got a new boat.
I've been having a little fun fixing up a Station 51 helmet for cheap, lightweight, really-obscure hall costume-wear. Fortunately, ebay provided for the parts I needed.
