Greetings, Now let me say up front this is not trying to upstart the photo host the council uses or anything like that. Just throwing it out there for people to know about if they want it.
Getdropbox.com is a really cool hosting site, you download their software and once installed it creates a folder in your documents. You can copy files into the folder and they are stored on the getdropbox servers. You can then right click on the file and get the web address to post your file online.
Now I am not dissing flickr or photobucket or anything like that. Just throwing out some information for anyone who wants it.

Thanks for the info! Every now and then we wonder if we should try a new hosting site for the Gallery. I forgot what happened to the last idea........... It probably got lost in the shuffle of other topics. Anyway, thanks for the info!!!

Master Xana, If I may be so bold. Getdropbox is nice like I said that you can upload them all from a desktop and can organize them however you want into overall Public or Private. Now there is web access from the main site (Getdropbox.com) that you can organize more as well as arrange a Share folder with all the pics. You get 2Gigs free with more offered with referrals as well as a premium service that you pay for. Again wasn't trying to upstage the council or anything. Just know there are a lot of multi costume people here and this to me is really great for having access to all your pics without having to totally be on a web site. Humbly, DV EDIT: A Example Folder Using The Site

Again meant no disrespect. Just trying to give options is all. Hope I didn't offend Master JediKai, if I did I apologize.

I have no problem with Fotki. I knew someone would say that, and I didn't mean it as a knock on TJA's use of the site... I just think people ought to be warned of the possibility of spyware....

What does it do, I'm curious. What is happening when it sets off you spyware detector?
I run 2 different spyware detectors.

Well, I wish could remember more specifically... I was making a tutorial, and I uploaded the pictures and they worked just fine.
Then when I was trying to make notes in the "Journals" to explain the photos, I would get a shutdown of Firefox and a warning message from Spyware Doctor.
I'm betting that it has to do with the "Journals" function and not the photo viewing!
At least I think it was called 'Journals", it was like a blog. It took me a year to get off their mailing list, so I don't want to go back in to find out for sure.... LOL
