Olos, If that doesn't work from a different computer, here's an address and phone #: [ftp]http://www.ultrasabers.com/faq.htm[/ftp] (top of the page) We had a funny situation at the office -- one of my co-workers was complaining he wasn't getting the docs I was sending him and it turns out they were all caught in his spam filter. (My feelings were deeply hurt..... sniff...... )

I've e-mailed ultra back and forth and until I added them to my contacts my spam filter blocked them. They were showing up as junk mail. you could try adding them as a contact.

Finally got an answer from Alex. I used my google mail address and it worked. I guess they were only stacked with too many emails.

Good! Hope they can help you with what you need!
I imagine they're swamped... 'tis the season. I hit it just right -- immediately after Halloween and before the Christmas rush started, so I got a fast turn-around.

so far it seams he has the perfect blades for my sabers, as well as a nice and shiney metallic MPP styled shroud.

I'm a big fan of Ultrasabers. my kids have the youngling-sabers (the ones w/ blades that are only 2 feet long instead of 3) those things are like billy-clubs. there's VERY strong. and brighter than a standard FX. check the pics: note: these little "youngling" sabers only have a 1WATT LED in them (for kids); the standard Ultrasabers made from Master replicas FX use a 3WATT LED!! (and they also have a custom saber-hilt available with a 5WATT LED!!!)

I think he's using a LOT MORE filter material then what I used on mine... I know its not the same material, but the end result is really impressive. I received my blades yesterday and proceeded with comparison testing. The Ultrasaber transport light a lot better up to the tip of the blade. The blade does not look conical, but cylindrical - a lot more like the FX blades. The better light recuperation makes that the same led looks brighter with his blade then the ones I originally made.
I don't have FX sabers for comparison, but cobalt60's pics talk for themselves - imagine one extra foot with a very similar brightness. (the blade is very uniform)
I personally use Corbin's Drivers. While Corbin's blade filter makes nice conical blades with a core/aura effect, the uniformity of Ultra's blade has its own advantages... and both types of blades catch the corbin-driver on/off making a sweet extraction/retraction look. (not as cool as the MRFX, but good ennough)
The Corbin C&L flashing effect does look great as well.
Overall, I think that I personally like the Corbin driver & Ultra saber combo.

The ultra FX conversions use the original MR polycarb tube, tip and inner diffuser tube, at least on the maul version. Adding a mirrored tip helps as I did that on a friends Maul.
It looks like pretty standard polyethylene (sp?) tube for the inner similar to what CSS uses as a diffuser on their EL blades. Worth trying out if you can order from McMaster Carr as its cheap stuff. Unfortunately with me being in the UK I cant test it out as shipping is a killer to here.
