Does anybody have any experience with Ultra Sabers? I am thinking about getting a Luxeon V Stunt Saber from them. It looks like I might be able to modify it on the outside to look a bit like Koda Vonnor's saber. The five-watt looks REALLY bright, and I don't care much about having sound effects. If I add an emitter shroud to the front and swap out the button switch for a graflex-style sliding switch... and add the rubber grips to the butt-end? Maybe dress up the blade-holding set screw to look like an adjustment knob... It has possibilities! ;D ~ Koda

I just ordered an Anakin MR conversion kit from them. My Anakin has some gaps in it now and I figured for $45 why not see if I can convert it to a Luxeon. I will let you know how this goes!

Probably just email them about it. I talked briefly with Todd from Ultrasabers at D*C and I thought he said that they work with Random Sabers to have custome hilts made for their LED sabers. Probably the reverse is true, if that is.

Yeah, I'm in the process of e-mailing both of them trying to find how to set up something.

I did a Maul conversion (to green) in late October/early November and Todd was extremely helpful both before and after, so I had a very good experience with UltraSabers.
With the addition of some "plumbing parts" to make a different looking pommel, it makes a nice generic looking saber much like those in the AOTC.
Note to self: take pix for the "show and tell" thread

Does any one have a custom saber from Ultra Sabers? One that you designed and sent in to be made. I'm curious as to their workmanship with custom hilts.

I saw an Ultrasaber blade in action this week-end and must admit I am impress with its result. Ultra uses some kind of fiber optics film, I like the end result. Its a lot different then my home made blades that uses Corbin's blade filter - not saying that my blades aren't good, they do that fluted effect and look very great.
I tried to contact ultra via email to ask about it on saturday and still have no answer on wednesday... Anyone had email experience contacting ultra before?

I used the same addy (ultra [at] ultrasabers [dot] com). I think that my gmail.com address goes to his spam box. tried again, still no answer.
I tried today to use my work address and see how it goes.
There's graflexshop that isn't answering as well, but all my send and reply tests seams to prove my mails are going trough. Go figure.
