the mask is a custom made fiberglass mask and painted. there is a smoke colored visor in there mask to hide your eyes. Tool a long time to sculpt. But was worth the wait.

Hey Tanzan, I cant wait to unveil the armor and costume. Im looking to blow away any revan costumers out there. I've seen one on the 501st web site. When Im finished with the paint its going to blow people away. Ive spent way to long a time planing, desinging and putting this together than I'd like to admit so I believe its gonna look great. If I dont see you at Dragon Con or SWW, Ill send you pics so you can see it all.

That'd be fantastic I won't be making Dragon Con this year due to finances, but I'm really hoping to make it next year or failing that, definitely the year after

Isn't it fun that we can say, i'll be at the con this year, or next year or the year after, and know that the con will be there for us to be at. 30 years or more ago when I 1st started going to cons no one would have believed that, let alone the size of them. Interesting mask, not a gamer so not familiar with the character, what does he look like?

Question can you get everything you need to work with fiberglass and the fiberglass itself at lowes or homedepot?

Debatable... Fiberglass is a pretty specialist medium, you might be better trying to source it online or from a builder's merchant rather than a hardware store like those...

If you have never done any fiberglass work I dont recomend undertaking a big project. I would take a few commercial classes if you can first. Its a compliocated process and it is very messy and dangerous to breath in. Need a good ventilated area.. but dry. You can out source to an artist who work in that medium and it might do you better. plus it can get expensive with the tools and all for just starting.

By the way Ky-Wan Zann, If you want, I can work with you on creating a design for you sith mask. I love designing costumes and have to admit I do have a flair for designing on the dark side. I know its not very Jedi of me, but hey sometimes for one to understand the force they must walk in the grey before they can see th light. But if you want to toss some ideas around with me I think we could come up with some interesting ideas

Cool thanks, I have an idea it's gonn ahave hooks and straps so I can keep a hood over the head even if the cloak or cape is not on. I have a few ideas, but yeah I can get together with ya on that, It'l be a while away yet though.

Cool thanks, I have an idea it's gonn ahave hooks and straps so I can keep a hood over the head even if the cloak or cape is not on. For my Sith costume, I wore a round-neck T-Shirt upside down on my head like a hat, over the top of the mask, and it formed a pretty good cowl, so I didn't have to wear a cloak at all

Hey Ky-Wan,
I know your sith ideas are a bit off in the future but I do sugest getting an early start. I found it took me like a little over a year in designing and such to get my sith down right. The problem seems to be that you do something but five mins later you change your mind and like I really think this would look better. Original sith ideas always seem to become works of progress rather than complete pieces. Hell Im still working on my first sith costume and I supposedly finished it like 3 years ago. lol ...Alas I digress. Well if you want you can email me anytime with some ideas and I would love to work with you on designs. You can get my email on the web site.
MTFBWY, Ja'Dae
