I don't know where this thread would go but are we allowed to wear something like a jedi or sith mask. For example Ive made a darth Nihilus mask(the masked dude on the front cover of Knights of the old republic 2). Even though it is worn by a sith it is not a sith mask, it helps increase the users potential with the force, so do you think it would be okay if I wear that? , of course it would have a black ski mask under it to cover up my skin so only the mask shows. ;D heres a picture of the mask if you have no idea what I,m talking about theforce.jaymach.com/images/NihilusMask.jpg

Is that a picture of the mask from the cover, or your recreation of it? I think masks should be allowed, as Plo-Koon wore a mask, as did A'sharad Hett. I have to admit, I'm rather tempted to make one myself ;D

If that was my recreation of it i wouldn't be trying to get into a jedi site would I? Actually mine looks close to it. Its easy to make if you have a hocky mask (jason version, not the real hocky mask of today) a dremel, i used a hacksaw though, and something to make templates with. Still trying to figure out what I could make that symbol on his forhead out of.

There are many ways to learn the ways of the Force, but only those who have joined it may know best.

The one used in "Duality" was a paintball mask. Usually cost about ten dollars or so, but they have a good look about them.

This thread inspired me to create a Sith costume. Behold, Darth Vious... As always, comments, suggestions and questions are always welcome

Thanks The mask was actually inspired by my favorite (and one of the most popular) villians in Dr.Who, Sharez Jek, who wore an almost identical mask to conceal terrible burns (similar situation to Anakin's) I then, believe it or not, used a plain black T-Shirt to make the cowl/hood ;D Wouldnt want to meet you in a dark alley at night Bit windy at the beech when you took the picture I guess. Hee hee, actually, it wasn't too bad as it was an estuary rather than an oceanic beach, but when the wind picked up, it did give some nice movement on the skirt, which I based on a traditional Japanese martial arts garment called a hakama

*Buuuuump* ;D I was just wondering if masks are allowed, as there was never any clarrification before... I was tempted to do a white on white version of my Sith Mask for my next costume, but wondered if it would be acceptable?

Thanks I've had an idea on how to achieve an interesting effect with the mask, but wouldn't want to do so unless it would be permitted as part of the final costume

I've changed image hosts... This is the mask, and for the Jedi Varient, I was planning textured white to replace the black sections:

Nice!!, if I ever did a Sith I'd rather have a more Vaderish Mask to a point, there was a character in Willow called General Cale who had an awesome skull mask
