I didnt really make that one myself. Sorry I didnt tell you all that earlier.
It was purchased though RLSA Sabers for my son . The only mod being, he had a different style handle. Before the pommel and I saw one on something similar. Asked if he could make the two into one and he did . Hence the results . To answer the other question it can hold a 3/4 inch blade. That is why it has one of the brass knobs I couldn't believe how light it was, turned Aluminum
Anyway I now have 5 sabers in my collection one of which I still want to post a pic of that I did myself . and have plans for one last one on the drawing board

Wow... hey Kevin, that's the very same blade that came with my saber when I bought it on e-bay many years ago. Same width and exact same color! And mine had that red button you had to hold down to get the sound, and also a toggle switch for the light. Interesting. Do you remember who made it?

Hi Leda- unfortunately no. I remember finding the ad in the back of a sci-fi magazine (Starlog maybe). It had a picture of 4 sabers with vague (but recognizable) names. The one I had was called "Father's". The others were called "Mean Guy", "Wise Man" and "Knight" (I think). I saw a saber using the same technology on ebay last year- I wish I had recorded the maker. It's become an interesting mystery. Kevin

These are the sabers I've made, although not all of them are in my posession anymore... The top saber is the one I wear with my costume, although it's not 100% finished, and was based on Anakin and Qui-Gon's sabers. The second one down is the first metal saber I made, and was inspired by both Obi-Wan's saber, and the saber made for Shannon Baksa for the Mara Jade trading card, and I've given it to my fiance. The third is obviously based on Anakin's saber, I gave it to my best friend when we went to see Ep II. The forth is inspired by Master Windu's saber. This is a better picture of the Obi-Wan/Mara Jade inspired design. I'm planning on making a new saber, which will combine elements of Count Dooku's saber with design features of the first and second sabers in the main picture. I'm also planning on making a unique saber for my fiance

Well after the Mission to CIII, I returned home less one lightsabre, no idea on how it was lost. Well with the premiere coming up ... my wife was sans lightsabre ... This was built from what I had left in the shop, in the wee hours of May 18th ... I really like how it came out ...
Wow I just noticed I hit 600 messages ... I guess I'm approaching no life

nice job! I just added a covertec to my saber... got rid of the d-ring. It's the Obi-Wan RotS style (the one that I first posted) and the covertec makes it more PT canon.
