I think Qui-gon would have won. How?

I try to look at it all as one movie. Every movie has ups and downs. Just like life. Everything must have balance.

I think Qui-Gon would have had a better understanding of the situation and more control over Anakin. After all he did get Ani outta Tattooine.

Yes, that is without doubt, he would definitely be able to control Anakin, I was meaning how would Qui-Gon been able to beat Obi-Wan? Obi-Wan's Soresu techniques would have been more than sufficient to defend against Qui-Gon's Ataru actobatics.

Mabey still with the fact of how close they were. Qui-gon knew obi-wan's moves. And if it changed as I get all those mixed up thn he would still know him better then obi-wan thought.

That's true, they knew each other's styles well, but as the 'Form Fitting thread revealed', Vader only beat Obi-Wan because Obi-Wan let him win. Obi-Wan's stylewas one of total protection, so I doubt that even a swordsman of Qui-Gon's skill would have been able to overpower his defence, if Grievous was barely able to overpower his defences.
