"You're disgusting! Mephisto help!" Aerith yelled. She wriggled more and more, her one wrist that still had feeling was quite red and sore now. So were her ankles.
Brax pet his chin, and pondered, while saying to her.."No I'm not. I'm very tasteful. And please stop calling for him. I'm sure he's dead by now."
That was the final straw. Aerith, in her max power, broke the ropes, and came at Brax in lightening speed, grabbing his neck and ramming him into the wall.
Brax however, was ready incase she ever did lay an attack as that on him. The moment she had slammed him into the wall, a syringe was slammed into her belly. Unimaginable pain struck her, and she felt the embryo was also pierced.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"WHAT!? HOW CAN THIS BE!" Dearith yelled, puzzled. Mephisto looked like he was dead, laying on the ground, cold, stiff and not breathing. And yet, Daerith didn't feel much more powerful.
Daerith unaware of what was happening her, Mephisto was not dead, but in a short stasis, to make himself appear dead.
The syringe which Brax had hidden in his belt loop was doing the job perfectly. Aerith fell to her knees and then to her side, screaming out in aganoy.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?" She screamed as her body rippled in pain. Her face started to sweat as she continued to struggle. Her thoughts dwelled on her unborn child. Hoping that her baby would be ok.
"What I had just told you.." brax sneered as he leaned back to watch.
"Mephitso..w-will come for me.." She wailed. Silently she prayed to the goddess for guidence and protection. "He's not dead..." Aerith muttered . Barly a whisper as it was muffled once again by her agony of screams.
Brax watched and smiled as she twisted in her pain. He knew it wasn't all right, but it was what Daerith had ordered. Besides....a woman in pain did look beautiful. Especially a powerful woman in pain.
"Oh my dear, don't you worry. It's not going to kill you, or your brood. You'll see. You should just try to relax. If you keep doing that, you'll damage it. So...lay back, and enjoy." Brax snickered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hmph! Silly boy. You're lucky I'm a busy man." Daeth told Mephisto, and he walked out of the room, leaving the badly injured sith behind. Pain seared over Mephisto's body. Aerith was in bad pain.
"Aerith....I'm here...." Mephsto whispered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Daerith was now in his private quarters, where he called for Brax. He needed an update to make sure all their plans were working out. So far, they had the upper hand.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brax's comm-link beeped, and he had to take his attention away from the screaming woman. He had recieved a call to report immidiately to his master's chambers.
"Excuse me, princess. I will leave you for now. I must see his majesty." Brax told her, sweetly, and he left the room, the door closing and locking behind him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back in Daerith's quarters, Brax had come in and saluted him in respect.
"Speak." Daerith said, in an evily pleased voice.
Brax put his arm down and gave his report.
"The growth increasing formula you told me to create is a complete success, sir. She put up a fight, but I was able to give it to her. Now she's in horrible pain. Version 1 only increased the birth to 3 months. Version 2 increased to 3 weeks, but had horrible side effects. Version 3 increased to 3 days, but it caused a brain inflamtion in the womprat offspring. However, I've perfected version 4. She'll give birth in roughly 3 hours, and she should be starting to feel the labor coming any minute now. Ofcourse the side effect, rapid growth will and has been giving her a ride through hell. She should be helplessly weak after birth." Brax explained...and then he added..."And sir, I was hoping I could keep her for my own....it would be a shame to kill her. Imagine how dark she'll be after the death of her old lover."
CHAPTER 27
Daerith was sitting in his favorite leather chair, hands folded to his chin. He was pleased at what he was hearing. The formula was inded a true asset to his plan. Yet the news of his officer asking what he did not need to hear was unbeliavable. Quickly He slammed his hands down onto his desk and rose half-way. Brax didnt even move. Eyes glued onto Daeriths.
"No. I have no need to keep the women after the child is born. She is too great a threat..." His voice flowing with venom. Brax swollowed hard and continued.
"Sir.. In my years of service I have never requested anything. I want her..." He took another deep breath as if it would be his last and continued. "Have her wittness the death of her lover. Im sure it will drive her mad. I don't care what her strenghts are. I don't need her in a right mind.."
He added with a vile contempt.
'That's because I can control more then what you know Daerith...' Brax thought evily as he covered his true intentions.
Daerith was too busy in his own thoughts to even hear a faint murmuring of that thought from Brax. But he did think about what the man had said...perhaps Brax was correct. Aerith in a state of hatred would be quite an evil force to be reckoned with.
"I'd better not regret this, or I'll have your head, Brax. You can be replaced just as easily as Razor." Daerith said bitterly, agreeing with Brax for now that he could have Aerith.
In the back of his mind, clear out of sight, Brax snickered fiendishly. Daerith was a fool, and he didn't even know it.
Soon the two sith lords left Daerith's private room and walked a way down to the detention area where Mephisto's door opened again.
Mephisto sat against a wall, recovering from his injuries, while his heart pounded with the shared pain of his soul-mate. Whatever was happening to her, felt like nothing he'd felt before....he was hoping that what he thought it was wasn't happening. How could it?
"Ah, there you are!" Daerith said to Mephisto, sounding cheery. It was a cruel joke.
Both of the human men walked in, but kept the door open. Mephisto snarled, and stared at them. But they ignored him.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Mephisto demanded. He spat blood from his throat when he had said that.
"You'll see. You should be proud..."Daerith said. Then he called for Brax, and said, "Bring him along. He'll get what's coming, and then you can go from there."
That made Brax truely smile. He came up to Mephisto, and kicked him hard in the midsection. Then he grabbed onto a large sith antler and began to drag him out. Mephisto didn't bother anymore to fight...not yet.
Daerith pushed the Sith ahead of him, a low smile on his face. Brax followed easily in his footsteps, hands easily at his side near his weapon if need be.
"Don't try anything...unless you wish to harm the Princess." Daerith sneered as he kicked at him a second time. The Sith growled low as he hit the floor. His injuries stinging his very core.
'Aerith...' Mephitso thought as he was shoved to his feet and directed further into the ship...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Aerith lay in a tight ball. Painfilled screams escaping her mouth, filling the room.
"NOOOOOOOO!" She wailed as another tight pang filled her belly.
'What's happening to me.. Goddess help me...please' She thought loudly. Breathing became more rapid as she brought her hands down onto her stomach. It felt larger!.
'No... noo.. this can't be..' She thought again as she tried fighting the pains to see what was wrong. Just then the door opened and in strutted Brax. A grin on his face.
"yes.. it's working..' He said as he hauled her to her feet. Aerith couldnt move on her onw and didn't even fight. Yet she could talk between the pain.
"Get your hands off me.." She spat. Brax ignored her, taking her by the shoulder and out into the hall. There held with a blaster to his head was mephitso!
"AERITH.." He turned his head slightly."What have you done to her.?" He snalred as he tried to move foward to his long time friend. A hand to the shoulder and the blaster shoved tighter into his skull forced him to stop. Aerith looked with pain filled golden eyes at him.
"Mephitso..." She whispered, and then fell limp. Brax caught her in his arms , dropping the sidearm to the floor.
"It's nearly time.." Dareath cooed.
Mephitso could only wonder. Time for what? His eyes went to Aerith's body as he noticed it still convulsed. Her stomach was much larger....
'My child...' He thought. Only for a moment as he was shoved hard foward.
"We need to get into the medical room." Brax stated.

The small entroge was lead threw a few corridors. The young Prestiess still hung limp in Brax's arms as they all entered the medical bay. The white plastered walls and smells of Bacta covered every inch. The corpse of Daerith's previous apprentice was long gone. No trace of him was in the room as Brax put Aerith on a long table. A few droids and a human medical officer shooed him and the others back as monoters were starting to be placed along her body.
"Just live..." muttered mephitso. One medical droid tried to approache him for his injuries. Daerith only looked at it and crushed his fist. The droid squeeled as sparks flew in all directions and it hit the florr scruding the clean white marble.
"Oh.. she'll live.. and you will live to see your offspring..." He stopped in mid-sentence to watch the anger play on the Sith's face.
"You will pay for this..." He started. Daerith merrily shrugged and force choked him until he clawed at his throat. Releasing him and admist the coughing Daerith chuckled.
"I really doubt that... but please go ahead and show me your power.. " He taunted. Immeaditly Mephitso kept quite, swallowing his anger. Brax meanwhile stood still as a statue as he spoke.
"The growth formula is almost compleat master.." His voice calm and mild with emotion. Daerith knodded and waited. His dark eyes still on the Sith beside him. The boy wasn't a fool to attack right here where he could easily harm his child.
'Almost compleat... and then the universe shall be mine.. The so called Jedi will be the first to fall' He thought.
Brax didnt say anything else. Yet his green eyes soaked up all the energy in the room it seemed. His thoughts pushed out, hidden from Daerith.
'True power.. he has no idea.. Very soon now I shall have what I want.. and then I shall have no need of anything from him...' Inwardly brax smiled at his plans. The thing that suprised him was how easily it was to learn what he did. That and more. The sith women was right though. Brax's people were taken. Yet it was Brax from that age.. physcially, not mentally... that let Daerith see what he wanted. For years he played the part of servant. That would be ending quit soon now. Yet as he thought of all this he felt a slow stirring in the room. Somethign was going on with the women.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aerith found herself awake. Dressed in a long silver gown. her golden eyes sparkled as light fluttered around her. sounds of an cean approached as the fog that was hit by the light wavered.
'Where am I?.." she thought as her hands looked down to her waist. her size was normal..
"MY BABY.." She cried out as water touched her feet. The smell of silken salts broguth her to where she was as a golden chuckle of love filled around her.
MY child.. your son will be safe..
What? son? her jaw dropped as she realised that the Goddes was speaking to her. In such a way as she only could have imagianed.
I can only guide you andmephitso. what has happend is a sad thing. Mephitso has the power as wel as you. Yet he can only save you and the galaxy. there will be another time Aerith. Help will come for you. yet it will be at a price...
"I don't care.. I want my baby to live.. our people.. "
The goddes seemed to sigh and then continued
All will reveal itself. Our people shall live. The glory shall always remain. Yet the way of life will never be once the same. I will help interfear only in this power that was injected to speed the birth. it will cause you great pain and I do not know for how long it will hold... you must hurry Aerith.....
The Prestiess didnt have time to ask anythign else as she was faded back into the darkness. Only the last words that the goddes said brought her more questions.....
CHAPTER 28
Sir, the woman has forced herself to stop the labor." Said a medical droid who was checking the birth monitor.
At the same time, Aerith was awakening from her dream. Her vision ws blurry, but when she woke up, she was looking at her worried, battered husband, and the two evil men who were holding them as captives and her as also a lab rat.
"NO!" Daerith roared. He smashed his fist into a wall. "WHY WON'T YOU GO THROUGH WITH IT?!! YOU WILL GIVE BIRTH!! NOW!!!!!!" Daerth yelled.
"DON'T!! LEAVE HER ALONE!!" Mephisto screached. He faught, getting an arm loose, in attempt to break away from Daerith.
"STAY OUT OF THIS INNCOLENT WORM!" Daerith yelled. He hit Mephisto hard ontop of the head with the back of the gun, and Mephisto, a cracked skull, suffered froma concussion and fell onto the floor, unconscious.
Daerith then pointed the gun at Aerith's head, taking aim between. her eyes, and he said, "I don't need you to push MY son out! I'll get him out myself!"
Brax then decided to stop this and he said, "SIR, YOU AREN'T THINKING! YOU COULD KILL THE BABY NOW! IT'S STILL TOO EARLY!!"
But Daerith didn't listen. He pulled the trigger. And Brax went from his post like lightning, and deflected the shot with a shot of his own. The blaster bolt hit the wall, leaving a scorched hole.
Angry, Daerith made to attack Brax, but Brax was too swift. He took the knife from his belt and made a gash in Daerith's arm. Then the officer took off out of the room and down the hall. He was left alone as he could feel the shouts or orders to find him. Brax went to a small room and up to a control panel where he made a transmission out to the Jedi Temple on Corruscant.
"Emergancy.. repeat help needed in the outter rim. Planet of Iridona in perial. Captives of what seems to be high borns. Planet under attack...."
Brax sent the transmission with a dire haste. Time was important. If he could not get out one way .. then he would use the help of others....
Coruscant was the planet that never slept. The planet was compleatly covered with industralization. It was considered the heart of the republic. Massive buildings reached towards the sky as streams of traffic flowed like the veins of a living being. The Jedi training temple stood alone above all others. iWhile some parts were still being newly constructed the rest was peacful and full of tranquility. A Republic guard came down the hall with haste. A small recording holoprojector in his gloved hand. There were only ye ta handfull of Jedi Knights. The order not being that long built. The earth tone colors of the temple halls graced over each person as the man waited to be seen in the council chambers.. When the doors opened he walked inside not making a sound.
"News you have?" At'klas asked. A human male from Corrliea. His dark brown and tan robs lay elegantly where he sat. The sun shinning into the room. Seven other Jedi Masters sat in similar chairs. Most were human, yet there was a wookie and Kal dorian that sat in the counciel.
"Yes. We have recieved a transmission form a terriotary in the outer rim." The man replied as he sat the transmission down on the floor. The static image of Brax appeard in distress releaing what was said and then being cut off. At'klas folded his hands to his chin as hic dark hazel eyes scanned the room.
"There is somethign more here.." He stated.
"Master.. I sense somethign else. SOmething that only now reveals itself." A human women from Alderian spoke. Others noded in agreament. There was something..more elusive.
"I sense a darkness seeping up from an unknown origin. as it is our duty to serve the Republic we shall go and help these peopl. Allies of another world this can be." At'klas finished as the soldier was dismessed... As the mans footsteps faded the Alderian Jedi Master spoke again.
"I feel a birth.. the birth of a great potiential.." Her voice was monotone. Noone had a coment for it..
Whithen only a few standard hours a small republic fleet was assembled. Thre battle ships, each with a hanger of eighty small two-man fighters. Sense there was no information on the exact flow of the enemy a transmission timer was set to be received to another, but smaller battle fleet that would be awaiting in case things should go badly. Among the regular crew three Jedi Knights and the Alderian Jedi Master were assigned for the mission. On board "PearlStar" they all stood on the main command deck.
"Master?" Kirruk, youngest of the Jedi and newly appointed Knight asked. Jedi Master Sho'ar folded her hands in front as a few republic officers passed the Jedi. The Alderian Master had volunteerd for this particular mission. The force called her to it as she looked at Kirruk to continue.
"I was wondering why now has the Republic taken intrest?" Kirruk even as a padawan seemed to pick out the lingered questions in the air. The two other Jedi semed to flicker their eyes in a frendly gesture as they too were thinking the same question. Sho'ar gave them a timid smile.
"I believe for many years now the Republic had always thought Iridon as a more Primitve planet. While traders do make use of certian goods the planet had very little to offer. So many other worlds the senete has to deal with burcracy and this planet has no representatives." Her small voice carried a great wisdom. The two other Jedi knodded as if satisified ;Kirruk wasn't...
"I understand, but what I ment was why leave the planet undefended? I have gone to the archives to find any information on the culture and there was very little. Why hasen't the Counciel granted the Jedi to go there? There could be many Force sensative's there." The young knight finished as the ship rumbled and went airborn. The corridantes were already set as relays went from diffrent consoles.
Sho'ar smiled. 'One day Kirruk will be a great Jedi Master.' The way the young Knight picked out a piece of a puzzle and used them logically was a great knowladge of the Force. For many Jedi it could take years of understanding the deeper qualities. She thought, taking a step back and to the side letting a ship's personall pass before she was run into.
"We know very little of the Zabbrak to begin with, They tend to be very secritive of their rituals. Outsiders are tolorated but rarly will anyone see the deepr portions of the table." Kirruk knodded to this as the other two Jedi excused themselves. That wasn't new for them. Sho'ar felt that it was getting much too crowded and motioned for him to follow her as they left the bridge and went down another corridor.
"There are too few of us as it is Kirruk. The Council does what is directly needed. As for the republic, they open their doors to help all systems. This act here will now tie in the zabrack race to the republic and there will be a presence from now on." Finishing off her sentence they took a right down another passegway. Kirruk pushed back the folds of his robe, not really satisfied with the answer he recevied.
"Yes Master."
Sho'ar smiled and laid a hand on his right shoulder, stoping them for a moment. Her light blue eyes sparkeling.
"In time you will see more the wisdom in this young one."
"Master, I was wondering..why send this many Jedi then? A mission such as this..It dosen't make sense." Kirruk crossed his arms to his chest as the two started walking again.Sho'ar only smiled slightly before answering.
"The Jedi need a stronger presence then most. Feel outward and you will sense the conflict.."
The Jedi frowned slightly. Somehow, he wasn't being told all the information.....
CHAPTER 29
Daerith was angered very much as he was waiting for a troop to get back to him on the whereabouts of Brax. Part of the reason, besides Aerith not giving birth, was the fact that he had seemed so foolish not to see Brax's meanings. Brax was turning out to be more of a problem than the sith in the room.
Aerith lay on the medical bed, brething quickly. She was still in pain, and trying to slow her breath, but she just couldn't with all that was going on. "Oh Mephi! Please be alright! Oh please someone...Goddess see us through!" She thought to herself.
Daerith frowned at the woman, with his teeth bared in disgust. She and all her kind were like that. Stubborn...that's another reason why they were unfit to keep around. They were uncontrolable....just like the mighty forces they weilded. How could they!? Daerith pounded his fist into the wall. One of the droids in the room was pounded through the opposite wall.
Aerith lay in bed thinking, 'This isn't helping...I'm stuck helpless on a space ship in a room that smells, with a madman who wants to kill me!' Medical personel and droids continued to monitor her status, one giving her a stress releaver. She wanted to shove the droid away, but she was too weak. The needle was pierced lightly into her arm, and soon, she was nearly sedated. She just stared at Mephisto who lay on the floor at the foot of her bed. A good amount of blood had poured from his cranium, but he wasn't dead. Not her Mephi...he was strong.
Just then, as Aerith rested and her heartbeat slowed to normal rate, a scout rushed into the room, sweating and out of breath.
"Sir! Brax has sent out a transmission to Corruscant! We were unable to stop it! Forgive me sir!"
"WHAT?!" Daerith yelled. This was horrible, fisrt the sith, then Brax, now....now the JEDI were sure to come here! This angered him intensely, and Daerith squeezed his hand.
The scout's neck cracked in seconds and the head was popped off and fell to the ground with the body. Blood poured out on the floor.
"Clean this mess up." Daerith told a droid.
