[shadow=red,left,300] A member of the local club, Ginger Mayfield, took this[/shadow] [shadow=red,left,300]
For all the photography geeks out there:
She used the Canon 10D with the 75-300mm zoom lens piggy back on the TV85/GP-DX. Focused with the Angle Finder C. Multiple shots done with the TC-80N3 remote.
Lens set at 200mm, F5.6, ISO 1600, 15x30 secs. Nine darks averaged and the result subtracted. Precessed with Images Plus, Photoshop CS and Neat Image
It is all greek to me ;D

I saw it on wednesday night around 1am here in Calgary. Walking back with my GF to her apartment from playing pool at the college's lounge, we saw something bright below Orion then I remembered about the comet.

The censors are there for a reason. Please don't try and get around them. "Darn" is effective enough for us Jedi.

I'll be traveling to upstate NY this week with Oli and the kids to visit friends of ours who own a bed and breakfast in this town called Unadella. Apparently, it's dark up there, so I'm bringing the little scope and hopefully the weather will cooperate and I'll be able to spot the comet, among other things!
