Okay....I know I'm going to regret this later, when I'm not so frustrated.....but here's my rant thread. Anyone can feel free to rant here, too. I was typing up an email for school, a long detailed one....I pressed Send to send it on its way....and a page came up telling me my email session had "timed out", and asked me for my password. So I entered my password, and got back into the email program, then went to the Sent Mail folder to see if the email got sent. Nope. That long detailed email I'd just typed up was all gone. And I hadn't saved it anywhere else, either. I am so frustrated, with myself and my email program! I usually save everything before I send it, just in case. But not this time, and look where it got me. Grrrr!

[glow=navy,2,300]That makes sense that it was timed out because you were typing so long. But if you want to avoid more frustration, don't listen to what I'm about to say.
If it was a browser, like Yahoo or Hotmail (which are usually the ones that get timed out) then you should have hit the back button to get back to it, selected all, hit copy, and then go through the changes of resigning in.
Maybe next time. But no one died, so remain patient. [/glow]

[glow=yellow,1,500]Sorry to report Flash... that trick does not always work... I've had several different e-mail servers where the back button doesn't work.
I know what yer talking about Ryss..... I lost the same LONG e-mail to stuff like that 4 times in a row before I finally gave up and wrote like 3 sentances. [/glow]

[glow=navy,2,300]Yes, it's happened to me before too. Instead of just going to the last page as you left it, it'll reload the compose email page, leaving it blank. But, it's too late now.[/glow]

I hate it when Hotmail does that to me. I hit back, but my work is erased. Anyways... Really sorry about that Ryss. Next time, yell at the computer and throw something unbreakable at something else unbreakable. It doesn't help get the e-mail back, but it sure makes you feel better!

Here's what I do when I use mail2web. Open notepad or wordpad, write your e-mail. Open your e-mail composition, cut and paste what you wrote in notepad to the new message and send!

[glow=navy,2,300]I'm liking it, Czuko. . .
Here's my rant for the day.
Went to Baker's Square for my pie. Gotta have my pie. There were these kids there just got out of a football game. They had facepaint and everything. Heard them talking about purity and being good kids. (which was weird because of the coincidence) I got to talking to them and they were very nice kids, around 15-18 or so. Then these people were leaving and one of the boys said "Hi" to them. The guy said "How you doin?" with a Sopranos type accent and the woman said, "Don't say hi to us. We don't like teenagers." So the kid laughed and said, "Well, I don't like you either!" Rude people. So then I told the manager and he said it was like that everywhere and you get to the point where you just say "f&^$ it" and let them be the way they are. He was a down to earth guy.
Oh well. Those kids were really nice, but I understand where those people would not like teenagers because of all the bad ones out here too. Her loss. [/glow]

[glow=yellow,1,500]After having some of the jobs I've had i've learned one thing about kids.... it's really not the kids you have to worry about... it's the parents that are the real jerks. I've seen good and bad teenagers, but I still say parents are worse then the teenagers... [/glow]

I'm with Czuco on that I own a paintbal field and reff alot and I'll tell you the kids have a great time and never whine or are rude. The kids with rude whinney parents well have whinney rude kids and kids with potty mouths. Ugh trying to keep that potty mouth under control out their imposiable. But seriously we have ton's of really nice younger boys that play and their parents are really cool to. I really like young adults they offer a fresh prespective on things alot of the time I learn so much from them. But ugh rude people/
This last week seriously I came within one breath of being run over by cars or motercycles three times. All in parking lots and all at high speeds like over 30. I even had small children with me.
One time that happened in seattle like waqy back in the day uh i'm not that old but older.LOL anyway this guy was on his phone I was in a crosswalk and he came rippen out of the parking garage. It freaked me out so much. I actually jumped up on the hood of his car, I had no were else to go, Like from standing to being standing straigh up on his car. I have no idea how I jumped that high. But I think I scared him more than he did me. I was caryin my big fat high shoes and smaked his hood with um thank god I didn't dent or scratch it I can be impulsive at times but man. I was glad he didn't have a heart atack. I told him to get off the phone and drive!LOL funny now not then!!

[glow=yellow,1,500]I've had that happen to me so many times it's so NOT funny. usually it's guys, and not teeage guys either. they come baraling around a corner or something, you stop even though you have the right of way and then they give you that look like YOU did something wrong... I hate those people... sometimes i wanna follow them to where ever they are going and just yell at em. my moms acctually done that twice. one guy had his little daughter with him to. And fortunatly i'm in NY where they issued the new Cell phone law. Its not really helping much cause i still see people driving without ear pieces, but it's a start. ::shrugs:: there are days i just want to slam into their cars and tell em to get off the phone. of all the stickers i have on my truck the one i like the best is the one that says "hang up and drive" lol. I saw that and HAD to have it on my truck. lol. [/glow]

I saw one you would Love.
Youre not driving a phone booth you idiot!!
I liked it. It is so true. I can talk and foucus. I had to do it for the Fire dept. Try that driven high speed sirens going that you have to turn on and of to change the sound. pulling the string for the air horn ging through intersections and talking to firecom or a hospital. It's quite a fun challange. They use to use like a hand heald radio thing like a cb but now they have these neat headsets but of course now I'm not their. I decided not to talk and drive though I have kids and that would be a bad way to go. Some one out her just died cuz they were aplying makeup while driving to work. How not smart is that. Poor woman paid with her life.

it really is sad how people can be distracted.... I acctually totaled my blazer because i was distracted while driving, and I'll admit to it now. it was really wierd to..... the night before I'd had a dream where i crashed my blazer twice in the same dream. a guy in my dream yelled at me and told me to get a new truck... the next morning WHAM.... blazer was totaled and i got my new truck. freaky isn't it. i really did need a new car so i wasn't THAT bothered by the crash... unfortunatly i'm paying more then twice what i was in insurance now ::shrugs:: oh well....[/glow]
