Ok I was never a very big reader until Lord Of The Rings, the only Star Wars Books I read were the Jedi App. Serise. That was until Sep. when I read Vector Prime, now I'm crazy for the NJO. Right now I'm on Rebrith chp. 13 But this books are the best pice of work I've ever read( next to the bible) What, other serise can kill of Chew in the first book and keep Star Wars fans coming back for more. I love all the Jedi , my fav. two are Corran Horn and Kyp. And the Yuzzhan Vong make Darth Maul look like the Easter Bunny. This books hove made me into a biger Star Wars fan than ever before.

I just finished "Traitor" ...which brought me back to NJO...my interest was starting to wane....I will put that series on hold until "Destiny's Way" comes out on paperback...
Right now I am in the "X-Wing" series...have finished "Rogue Squadron" and "Wedge's Gamble" and am now into #3 "The Krytos Trap"....this series has been fantastic so far....give a lot of backstory on Corran Horn....who is another of my favorite characters...and an awesome Jedi (in my opinion).
I have read all of the EU also (save for this X-Wing series...I wish I had started it sooner)....some are good...some are BAD....
but my favorite still stands at A.C. Crispin's "Han Solo Trilogy"....
lots of good stuff to read out there!

New Jedi Order...in my opinion.... Sorry guys...but I just can't stand the NJO. I'm not going to list why...too many reasons.

I agree Ryss....NJO is not my favorite either...I am just hanging in there on it because I have come this far with the series....
I didn't like Star By Star at all....didn't like Rebel Dream or Rebel Stand either...but "Traitor" I liked...so that has kept me coming back...
"Rebel Dawn" is not one of the NJO novels......it is Expanded Universe.. ;D

I am not a big fan of the NJO although I read them. Man are they depressing! I am glad things are finally turning a little bit to the good guys' side!

I'm not picky I like the stories that deal with Luke Mara The solos ect cus that is what I know and when I read I'm really their or so it seems. I'm reading the Jedi apprentice series I belive anyway young obi wan and Quigone so. But I do have to say I can understand somes fellings on the NJO. I really like teh interaction of teh characters. I dont care to much for the Vong but hey thats ok it is interesting. I have seen pics of the cover art for the new book and I must say if thats supose to be luke and Mara call me Mashed patatoes for brains. Sorry to say I really hate it. but then I'm more of a fan of comic book art.

I am waiting for "Tatooine Ghost" to come out. I am a little tired of all NJO books coming out and hardly anything before that timeframe for our heroes.

Well, while I've been waiting for my new book to come, I've been re-reading some of my favorite New Jedi Order books which certainly includes Star by Star, Dark Journey and Destiny's Way. I know that lots of people had different views on these and I'm interested on hearing what you thought about it....and the fate of poor Anakin. I like the books but i think they're starting to border a bit on the tragic side. Any thoughts on these three?

I haven't read NJO yet at all, and only a few EU or maybe that's backwards, Tales of the BH, and a couple of Rogue Squadron, Splinter... Eye. I did like the Han tril, and got a couple of laughs from the Lando's waaaay back when they first came out. Maybe one day I'll read these, lately I haven't had time.

the new jedi order is not only the longest book segment out there but its also the best so far. i was just given destinys way yesterday by someone who only reads dragon lance. so far its is awesome. all im gonna say is that it proves to be another great in a long line of greats. i cant believe all of the stuff thats happening and all of the people theyre killing off, man when they got the furry guy i actually cried. not to mention what happened to the youngest solo, and when it almost happened to the oldest... i got upset, but everythings cool for now.
