Well, it is possible to make a Jedi hood too big, even though they are enormous. It's happened to me. Fortunately, the hood on my dark brown robe is the perfect size, so I just use that to size with.
But lying flat? The only way I know of making a Jedi hood lie flat is to have someone arrange it as flat as possible on my back after I take it off. Or fluff it a little and back into wall to flatten it. Those hoods don't want to lay flat when you take them off.
For the movies, they have costume people whose only job is to arrange everything on the actors, including hoods, before they start filming.

OK. Sorry. I would make a horrible Jedi. I have no patience.

We understand though. You have been anxious to get this costume finished.

Cash? *laughs hysterically* Yeah, right. I can't buy online anyway. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

I was just wondering, why can't you shop online? Before I hooked up my bank account to Paypal I simply used money orders for my eBay shopping sprees.

Oh... I thought you needed a credit card to buy online. Oops... Just shows how much (or how little) I know about eBay! Anyway, I guess I can't make up any excuses except lack of money. My only source of income is my Financial Aid check. I'm going to do my Christmas shopping with the money from Book Buyback (selling the books back to the college bookstore) ARGH! That's it! Once the first of the year passes, I am getting a job!

No my friend you mistake things. It's not a hobby it's a way of life You are right ... I've made a commitment to the Jedi Order... a commitment not easily broken.

Heh, As an avid costumer of more than Jedi clothing...Hoods NEVER lie flat EVER! (at least not the ones I've made...perhaps it is possible but I don't deem it as LIKELY....On boots...As a person who DETESTS shoes...I recommend Earth shoes here is the link to where I get mine (at half price or less) www.SierraTradingPost.com (I think) go to shoes and then do a search on earth shoes and their whole stock will come up as well as color choices and sizes available this company(earth shoes) does not believe in heels and they are wide at the toe (so those of us who wear shoes only 3 months of the year can actually fit our truly wide toes into them!) Look at the FOOT part of the boot you can make spats to match your Jedi later if they are not perfect! May the Force be with you on this project! Peace, J. P.S. Things on this site go in and out of stock so keep an eye on it if you decide to shop here!
