Oooh. I like the Chewy thing. Would it have to be out of material or could it be done out of leather? He he. I like leather.

You'd think they'd have a back packof sorts for things.LOL. I do have a leather backpack somewhere. it's a dark brown soft leather.:-) It'd go well with the garb.
Cloth I wouldn't use, it gets dirty too quick and can wear out faster then leather.
Humm their stuff never moves onscreen ey? They super glue it to their bodies.:-D Realsitically I bet a credit or two, that in a fight, they'd have clothing askew, hair loose from hair bands(the half phony tails etc.). crocked Tabbords. Maybe a hole in a sleeve or the robe hem. When I'm in duels I usually have some damage to my tuncis I have to repair. Like a tear in a seam or a hole here or there.

I agree. If you don't get any damage, then you are just sittin' on the bench.

I had a school concert Tuesday for one kid, another yesterday for another, family pictures tonight, two baseball games tomorrow, one more Sunday, I have homework to do, plus finish up Xmas shopping. So, no. Not yet. I was hoping to sit down Saturday and look at it again. I was thinking I would take it to the game and work on it then. With the boy playing two games back to back, that gives me almost six hours to work on it.
I am trying to complete something on it. Well, there is always next Saturday.

The reason they look so unmussed on screen is called the WARDROBE DEPT. and they work very hard at it, but they really do use things like safety pins & velcro and stuff, basically anything that works, including sewing the actor in a costume for each shoot.

Hey AZ, maybe you could try a strap over the shoulder, sort of British Army style, or leathr suspenders attached to your belt, heehee.

Oh, kinda like what the Clone Wars characters had. You know, that's not too bad of an idea. I haven't seen anyone do that yet. But then again, I don't get out much. You just gave me an idea. Thanks!

On my belt I use a heavy duty buckle, under a pouch. and rember that most of the girls in the original Star Trek series were literally sewn into their costumes, I don't recommend that (makes a lot of things diffacult) but a combonation of snaps, zippers, velcro, buttons, and good old fashoned friction will do the job.

From what I hear and read about Parks' customer service (which is all good), I would call him. He might well work something out with you.

SynKai,
Opps, Seems like a sizing accident.:-) No prob, Master Parks'll work with ya' on that one. He has an excellent reputation for being able to work well with the costumers. Give him a call and see if you can exchange it for a larger one. He MIGHT charge a little bit but it wouldn't be extravagent. Just ask him real nice. He won't try to rip you off, TRUST me. I have a belt from him that his wife, Kim made for me. Mine is a custom built since I'm too small out of range for the standard sized belts.

as a rather large jedi, i too thought i might have belt problems. i got my belt blanks from dk leather. its similar to tandy. had had a 2 1/2 inch one made. this leather is like gunbelt leather. very thick and rigid. my lightsaber is extremly heavy. made of chrome sink pipe with copper pipe fittings shower flange emmitter and shroud with a 4AA battery pack, 2 switches, 9 volt, EL converter, sound card and speaker. add pouches and whats in them and food caps. my belt doesnt sag...at all. is held together in the back by 2 large chrome snaps with a belt keeper over them so you cant see them ala EP 1 and 2. if anyone needs belt help, i learned at lot in the 3 months i studied before i made mine.
