This looks, at first glance, like the best Jedi costuming pattern...ever. But I know it has to be different from a normal Jedi costume in subtle ways to pass copyright cops.
So tell me, please, as I have recently recaught the costuming bug, what modifications are to be made. I'm not sewing...a friend is, who is not a Star Wars geek like us, so keep that in mind.

can't find it either, and never heard of it before. I'd be thrilled they came out with a new, improved pattern

Jaren, do you mean simplicity 4450? Take a look at that one, we have a whole thread in the Jedi Costumes in General Forum.

4450 is the same thing, it seems. Who's the dude in the middle?
I'll be in the thread in the general costume forum I guess.

I was thinking Tion Medon, but that isn't the case. I might use it for my custom Sith, but get a hooded cape to go over it, similar to Revan's.

Hmmm, didn't think of that. Unusual character for Simplicity to make a pattern for.

I think it IS supposed to be tion medon or however you spell it. look at the high collar.

Yeah...but Tion Medon had those spikes going down the front of his robe...odd.

But they're more accurate than the thing in the middle.
Does Lucas know how much money is to be made off of licensing patterns?

Thwy's why they don't, the lic. is paid by the co. thet makes the goods. Rubies pays millions to do those costumes. Yes it's meant to be Tion Medon. Not such a huge surprise, Bruce Spence has a huge following going back to Mad Max.

True, but Rubies also reaps millions. I'm sure Simplicity would, too.
