I really truly do not want a pattern to the rubies products. Most of their stuff are reputed to be screen INacurate and funky looking.

agreed olos, it is inacurate and funky...very funky, and not in the cool awesome (and dare I say "retro") good funky way.

no I meant if there was a manufacturer going off of simplicity's "official" patterns.

I think he meant if Simplicity were to lic. the Star Wars name and then do patterns that were based on the actual garments from the films. As for Rubies, generally it's the fabric that's really awful, and the cut is just skimpy, but sometimes fairly accurate, they just aren't meant to be film quality.

simply because most people that are making a Jedi costume want it to be "good ennough" but "very simple" as they make it in a few hours for a halloween event and don't mind about being anything accurate...
costuming has always been like that, most people aren't really costumers and attend only one costumed thing per year and its late october.
