I have Obi Wan & Anakin and finally found a Qui Gon a couple of weeks ago. I think I will get the Jango, it's way to cool. I just found a super bargain, Amidala, hidden mystery in a closeout, so I bought a couple, it's the handmaiden w/ a mask of Padme in a hood and a burgundy cloak, for the price it was ok. I also got the Anakinw/book in a big box (OLD Anakin) I need to find a Vader and a Ben Kenobi that I can afford, eventually it will happen. What is this electronic Obi Wan you list? I saw an electronic room alarm figure of Jango, it was fun, it blasted you and said Jango things, is the Obi Wan sorta like that? Perhaps it will call us "young padawan"

When I went to pick up the latest 3 3/4 figures (I'm too cheap to do 12"), the Chewbacca one was so cool...I had to buy a second one to actually open. The new Chewy has C3PO in three pieces in the cargo net...and when you put 3PO's head into the body socket the eyes light up!!
I think that I will be heading to K-Mart after work to buy some seconds of figures I really would like to open and I would like to have a second figure of all the Jedi to "assemble" on my desk at work. I have extra loose figures from Episode one of all the Jedi, so I need only buy a few of the AOTC Jedi series and I can have the whole Jedi Council on my desk!!
They already think I'm a few bricks short of a full load at work...might as well let them think I have completely lost the load!

I got the new Chewy. Didn't open him yet. The 12' are too big for me. Where would I put those? Yeah, let them think you're nuts! It's always the kooky people into cool stuff like SW that are the fun ones. You know, like us!;D

Hehehe.......Solorad and I can join the crazy list too. We love to cruise the toy stores and Wal-Mart for the new toys. We found the new Djas and Palpatine figures at Wal-Mart, and we are looking for the new Massif figure. I've only seen one so far, ahs anyone else found it? As for 12" figures, we collect as many as we can afford. But at $20.00 a pop, I have to be careful! Right now we are looking for the Red and Yellow Clone Troopers, but haven't had any luck .

I like the 12 inch, because you can undress them, and look at the costumes, I never realised that Ben & Anakin were wearing brown shirts and pants under their beige robes, I always assumed they had on brown robes, 'cos you never see them, and that what is worn in most cultures. Qui Gon's tunic is constructed way differently from Obi Wan's, it has a waist seam like I have in my long one, you can make a fuller skirt on it that way. I really like the details on the Eeth Koth POTJ figure, his tunic w/ slits looks very practical from an action point of view, no constrictions.

PS: The 12 inchers are a good way to work out pattern details, without spending a fortune + you get spare clothes for your Jedi, or you can turn other 12 inch dolls into Jedi (Picture GI Joe & KEN in Jedi robes AAAGGHH!!!) Make your Jedi robes in doll size, less fabric & sewing but you figure out the constrution, that was actually how I started sewing, I did "Godspell" ragdolls of my friends in their "Godspell" costumes, and my 1st paid commision was a potrait ragdoll of a cast member of "The Magic Show"

I had noted too that even the 3 3/4 figures keep the costume really on the money to the real thing...of course, you can't undress those...but you can see a lot of detail the you miss when looking at pictures and such. As I mentioned in another thread...I do have all the Jedi on my desk at work and it is amazing the variations that exist in the Jedi costumes. Very interesting when you see them all lined up together!

Yes I have decided that I have to have all the Jedi 33/4 figures, (I just love Jedi) comfortable costumes at last!

I'm on the hunt for Luminara, Eeth Koth, and Ki Adi Mundi (til they come out with some others those are the ones I haven't got yet," Patience, Padawan, you must learn Patience" I hear my master's voice, he tells me often that Jedi are not in to instant gratification. I do try to please him, but I Want It All, and I want it NOW! (Sorry a little Queen joke)

Good luck in your search....if you have one...try looking at K-Mart... I was at a Chicago Force pic nic yesterday (on the hottest day of the year!) and one of the guys there said that K-Mart was putting all their figures on sale for under $4.00. I didn't see it in the sale papers, but am going to check it out on the way home today. I bought a second figure of all the Jedi to open and K-mart had them all except for Nitko. The Wal-Mart I stopped had had only two C3PO's left...and that was all!! They probably sold out faster becuase I think Wal Mart had all the figures cheaper early on and probably sold more.

Whew, you scared me for a moment Schph! I was having nightmares on how much I spent on the first 27 when they came out in April. I just HAD to have them then . Stupid me! If I had just waited a month, I could have saved myself some money. Oh well, you live, you learn!

Yeah, well, just remeber all this when EpIII comes out! It all goes on sale eventually! Just buy a couple you really want, plus rare ones if you know what they are, and wait for the rest to go on sale.;D
