TJA member Dolvan Veingo and I were in the Racine 4th of July Parade with the amazing (and Tex Reynolds award winning entry) float by the WI Garrison... Got to also hang out in front of the Tex Reynolds award winning float and carry the banner with Dan.... got to prove to myself that I can still hoof it a good distance in my Jedi boots .....approx 3.5 miles and to just be a part of something I have wanted to do for several years.. It took 4 photos just to handle the group shot! . It doesn't get better than that... though.. I could have done without locking my key in the Jeep.. but.. WI Garrison to the rescue... I thank them all! more photos: s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa304/schphgochi/Racine%204th%20of%20July%20Parade%207-4-11/?start=all

That is an AMAZING float. They must have really worked hard to do that! Great group of costumers, too.

On Friday 8-19-11 members of Nar Shaddaa Base and the Midwest Garrison (and with me in Jedi-the Midwest Order of TJA) went to Hope Children's Hospital to pass out toys that were collected by our groups, and by several other groups. These toys were collected in honor of Natalie Ann Siemek. Both NSB and the MWG conducted toy drives at Cyphan and at Wizard World. Natalie was born 11/15/2005 with a rare heart defect. Hypo Plastic Right Heart Syndrom was her diagnosis. With the love of her family and the amazing doctors and nurses at Hope, Natalie's life of 15 months was a gift to all who met her. In honor of Natalie, The Siemek family has had 4 toy drives to benefit Hope's children. The last toy drive was dropped off March 5th with a total of 236 beautiful new gifts. These are handed out to the admitted children by the Child Life Development Staff. These toys help children that are there for long periods of time or during special events like birthdays. In attendance from TJA: Whinter Fenlyn - Undercover in Medic Scout Artoo - my R2D2 Schph Gochi - Jedi For reasons of privacy for the patients...we didn't take photos of the kids up on the floors. Me and Natalie's dad: More photos: s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa304/schphgochi/Hope%20Childrens%20Hospital%208-19-11/?start=all

One of my best friend's son was born with Hypo Plastic Heart Syndrome as well. He is now 10 years old and doing great!

On July 16th members of the Rebel Legion and 501st were invited to the Hallmark store in Victorville to help promote the launch of their new Star Wars ornaments. I was the only Jedi (the two on the left aren't members of any groups but I did give them information about TJA). Sorry so late reporting!
