I'm looking for a broken Obi-Wan model MR FX Lightsaber to use as a prop. Replicas are out of my price range. I'm willing to pay up to $40 for one that looks good. Nothing needs to work! Yes, I've tried ebay...

$70 is way too high, I can get a brand new one in the box for $85 and take it apart myself. And have spare parts for my working one. Thanks anyway

did you try the resin cast on ebay Yes, I saw one, but it was $75, and from my experience in model railroad building I know paint does not stay on resin forever... I wouldn't recommend resin for a prop to actually wear.

We all know the guts are good for something... but this will save me from trying to take it apart myself... as much as I enjoy tinkering, I'd probably destroy it... ;D
Thanks, vortextwist, I look forward to receiving the "finished" product!
