The Jedi temple looked big enough to classify as a small sub-city. And that's based on the size of it stiicking out among the buildings around it. No tellling how deep the basements go.
But even as big as the temple appears to be, we also know that the Jedi like lots of halls with decorative, but preposterously high ceilings, so it's not all living space.
But, yes I think they have hot tubs in there somewhere.

It mentions padawans swimming in several of the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest novels, and the pool where Obi wan and Bant liked to swim was where Bruk Chun fell. I'm sure that there were hot springs as well as cold ones in the Temple, if only to soak all those abused Jedi muscles after those hard missions.

Whoa... I can't believe I read this entire thread! Parts of it had me laughing so hard I almost fell over; like the one where you were joking about the hugeness of Hutts and the floaty things that could support them? ROTFLMHO! (sorry to bring THAT up again...) I had to try and be quiet 'cause I'm online in the dead of night...sorta. The rest of my family is asleep, and none of them like being woken up. Anyway, back on the subject, it mentioned in the YJK books that the young Jedi swam in their undergarments. In fact, that group LOVED swimming! Hmm...Guess with the jedi it doesn't really matter...kinda like a big family or something... Of course, I'm also the type to shy away from swimsuits unless it's a tankini and surf shorts... I'm turning in. Night! (even if there's no one here right now; everyone's smarter than me.

[glow=blue,3,0000]Awesome. I'm gonna tell that one to all my friends. Even though I'm a loyal Coke customer... and living in a Pepsi city. ::grumble::
A Jedi swimwear calendar, huh? I'll bet there's alot of Jedi here willing to model your designs. We could probably even sell it as a fundraiser. Proceeds to a children's hospital or something like that. And it would be fun![/glow]

Not a bad idea... but I was think more on the lines of something funny and photoshopped... and not for sale or anything... we'd need mega permission from LFL to do that! I was just gonna mess with some pictures and post them for a laugh!

Yeah, I figured that Jedi sleep in their clothes... at least part of their clothes. To carry a whole separate set of clothing just to sleep in would be an extra burden not needed on a mission.

I always figured the cloth Jedi clothes were made from were treated to be more sweat resistant and dirt resistant since they practically live in them for weeks

Or they had some sort of portable self cleaning system... like sonic dirt removal...
