Darn. Links don't last. One of the fabric links I posted doesn't work. The other one only gives you a blank page when going to 'checkout' if you try to otder any. Ah well, they still look nice.

Does anyone know how silk noir feels against the skin? How it washes up? (I would hang dry it)

I've worn that agaisnt the skin and , to me, feels slightly ruff if it's unlined. It may not make the best under tunic, but if your skin isn't picky, give it a try. It'd be the softest comy thing you'll have around.
If you'er using it as an over tunic it's best to line the sleeves, if you'er ambitious, line the whole thing.. It washes VERY well dries nicly, however if youfeel better to air dry, it'll keep your garment from shrinking. Very strong fabric too.

When it's been washed & dried a few times it can get very soft, but the texture looks better as an outer tunic and unless it's a really light weight noile it might be a tad warm as an undertunic, because likely the tunic would be as heavy or heavier. My most formal and first tunic is in natural silk noile and after several years, it still looks as good as when I first made it, maybe a bit better because it's a bit softer.
