How wide is the fabric? That makes a big difference! If it's any narrower than 60 inches then 1.75 yds probaby isn't have enough. Are you working with a pattern that has recommendations? The important parts are the overlapping front, the collar and the long, but close-to-the-wrist sleeves. Those are the parts that show.

I usually buy 3 yards of 60 in wide fabric. I make my sleeves very long and tight so they have the accurate looking bunch up at the wrist, so that length takes extra fabric.

I'm almost the exact same Stats as you and i had about 3-4 yards of material when i made my Under Tunic, If you can afford 4 Yards i'd say get it cause you will always find a use for off cuts and the like, also the extra will allow some leeway for personal sizing adjustments lol.
Again this is all assuming that you have a fabric thats 60" wide

for the outer tunic i bought 3.5 yards and it was more than enough i had very little waste too!!! that includes tabbards and belt sash as well. i guess i got lucky so my jedi costume cost me 35.00 for two under tunics one outer tunic tabbards and sash. and patterns for both.
