I just got done sewing up my first solo-project jedi outfit. I'm not one to brag but this one looks awsome. It's an Ep3 Obi Wan complete with wrinkled material. I found a truck load of it in the bargain bin at wally world for $2 a yard. I have about 14 yards. Anyway, the color and texture is perfect. I got a light-brown cotton material and lined it so it's not see through. Tonight I have to make the shoulder "pads" and it'll be done. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Just call me super excited!

Well done Akar! Can't wait to see those pics! I've heard that the new Jedi garb in Ep III incorporate shoulder pads in the design (perhaps in the robe?). This gives it more of a Japanese formal wear look. Kevin

OK, so maybe shoulder pads wasn't the correct choice of words. I was refering to the "flappy things that hang over your shoulders and under the belt thingy". There, maybe thats a little more politically correct.

Well, here it is. It's not to bad for my first solo-sewing job. That's my Brother-in-law in the picture. He'll be wearing it at C3. I hope it all looks ok!
