I was wondering, i do want to join the jedi order and im ordering my jedi costume soon but if it has alot of black but also dark browns, kinda like anikins would that be ok? ex... black boots, black pants, black leather tabbards, dark brown outter tunic tan inner tunic, brown obi, and dark brown robe, would that be allowed for the jedi order?...also i have peircings, one in my lip, 3 in my left ear and 2 in my right, my left ear peircing is enlarged to the size of a nickel, i was wondering if thats ok? i mean jedi are free to do what the wish to there self image right?

With so many sentients in the Star Wars galaxy....piercings should be not big deal....

but....I will repeat something that I have told many new people in the past....the rest of you can turn away now....


Try to keep your Jedi as close to the canon portrayal from the Prequels....

keep to the browns, tans, etc....

I have been going out in costume just about every two weeks in either my Jedi garb (which is canon) and my Imperial Officer (also canon)....and the one thing I can tell you is that to get the most enjoyment out of your "in costume" experiences out in public...stay with the browns and tans...

a lot of the public really are not sure what we are dressed as....and some will only recognize what they have seen on film....

If you are doing the costume for your own fun ....then...feel free to make it whatever you want...but if you want to participate in a lot of costuming events...stick with canon...
