I don't get it. Why aren't black belts and black boots allowed in the Jedi Assembly? They definitely were seen in comics and movies.

Greetings,
I believe the only Jedi characters who wear black boots and are Jedi in the film are Luke Skywalker. In the comics I also do not believe Jedi dressed as Jedi so that would be Quinlan Vos if you were thinking of mentioning him) wears black boots with their Jedi garb either. Can you site a specific comic or screen shot?

Yeah, the Jedi Assembly sets its guidelines from the Old Republic Jedi, who basically wore shades of brown (though they seemed to allow cultural variations like Luminara). Black is generally considered a Sith color by Old Republic standards.

Cade Skywalker, Treis Sinde, Sigel Dare, Lucien Draay, Vandar Tokare and Kerra Holt are Jedi (some of which are Old Republic era) that wear black belts and boots.

Cade is long after old republic, The others you would have to show examples of and they are face characters. Like Luke. He wears black but in the prequel films no jedi do so unless they are face characters we don't generally have black used. Believe me I know the pain, that's all I could get years ago but have upgraded to brown ones myself
