I spent a moderately productive day copying cassettes to wav files and watching a tape backlog, as well as giving a little care to my Jedi boots.
After CVI and DragonCon my two best pair of Jedi boots needed some rubbing with brown polish and saddle soap and they really look so much better. I really prefer to do my cleaning and maintenance on my costumes before putting them away for awhile.
What do other people do for their boots?

I usually have to dust them off before I wear them. I just keep them in the closet. I really should put them away better. I did polish my jedi boots once, but I think it's time to hit them again with it.

I check mine over really well before I pack them for use. I have polished an older pair of mine, but since it seems I am always trading boots, looking for that perfect pair, I very rarely wear them enough to get beat up enough for a polish! I usually wipe them down good with a damp cloth and buff them

I need to hit them with some saddle soap at the stress points so they don't end up cracking. I used to be the same way... switching boots all the time, but now that I've found the right pair, I really should take care of them better.

I polish mine before every use....I have been using the same boots for almost 10 years now....look as good as the day I got them
