Thought I'd share this as it's already making it's way around the RL forum. While I'm not sure how accurate these are or quality, it is a possibility for items one may need. Boots, sabers and such withstanding. 200 For an innrer, outer tunic, tabs and sash isn't bad. www.museumreplicas.com/g-38-become-your-own-jedi.aspx

They look respectable, but I still prefer to make my own.

They look respectable, but I still prefer to make my own. I'm with you....what if you get the outfit and it's not right or it just doesent fit? I see they have a no returns policy on the Jedi Outfits. Dianakin

That's because the "make your own Jedi" line is custom, thus not returnable. Though, one would think if they did it wrong, there could be some solution

I've seen MR Jedi wear at SDCC and D*C on display. The material is a little too thin for my taste.

Yeah mass produced off the rack stuff. But for some it's a good start and might turn out better then some stuff people end up trying to submit. If anything it can be used for patterns

Well, here's a little update on the MR Jedi, I took a good , close look and feel of them at CVI. Most of the previously seen samples were proto-types, at CVI they had the finished product on display, better fabrics, with more heft. My favourite pc was the boot-top or leg chap/ halfboots. They are leather, wide-calfed and adjustable, they open down the sides, and each strap has several straps, I might get a pair myself for my short boots. I suggested that they should make the full boots in a size 7, which would fit alot of women, we also discussed the calf width, I suggested that they do a standard & a wide calf. Well, it was a point that needed to be made.

Good to hear the fabrics are better. I've not read what the RL has decided about admissibility. Has TJA decided?
The boot tops are$160. For that price, I think most people could get decent boots, not just chaps that look like fake boots.

I liked the robe fabric but the tunic fabric was a bit flimsy in my opinion. The belts are nice leather but a few of those buckles are really strange looking... they don't say "jedi" to me at all. I missed looking at the boots.
Overall its a good way to get a jedi costume... albeit pricey if you are going to buy the whole thing! It's a great way to get a piece or two, though.
