Okay, here's the good and bad points of Shadowdale. They have amazing quality, as in movie-level amazing. The problem is that friends of mine in Rebel Legion and 501st have had problems with delivery and communication. One friend waited a year-and-a-half for an Imperial Officer uniform. Another ordered a Jedi in July and is praying that he receives it in time for Celebration VI. Expect to get an order confirmation email from them and that is it. Both friends have sent several emails, but they rarely reply. Oh, and their stuff is rather expensive, too expensive, in my opinion.

For that price they should both communicate and deliver on time, on custom orders, my usual is about 8 weeks.

I have a friend who ordered an Imperial officer uniform from them and he got it just fine. Not sure of the time frame though, it was a few years ago..
I ordered a custom piece from them back in July as well and have not heard anything since my email confirmation. But I have the patience on this costume to wait so we'll see what happens in the end...

I have heard their stuff is good but yes wait periods....and a few people who ended up getting refunds because they kept getting excuses about why they were not done.

You've got more patience than I, that's 7 months and no word except they got your order and money. I would not order from a company that does not at least give an estimated delivery date and then get it done in the timeframe given. I was also a little surprised that some of the photos shown on thier site are official film stills of an item and not their own goods.

Well, I'll just throw this out there. My wife and I are currently finalizing a pattern for a full Jedi costume. Under tunic, trousers, over tunic, tabards, obi, and robe. Once we get the patterns completed and get a prototype photographed, I'll post more info. However, I can promise that it won't take 6+ months and will be made to look like it just stepped off the screen.
