What I got for Christmas

Nice double-bladed saber hilt

BUT...its a different kind of saber when opened

KNIFE blades

Novelty to be sure (I doubt the blades would hold up in any sort of play) so it will be for display only. Still an interesting play on the saber. Outside looks definitely sci fi.

Screws open and blades fit neatly inside. Flip the ends around and they screw together to make a full saber

Two knife blades. One on each end. The hilt comes apart in the middle and the knives are nested inside. Then you can flip them to the ends and reattach the middle.

I don't have any plans to convert. Lightsaber blades would not fit inside the hilt and it looks pretty darn cool the way it is
