Am I seeing it right, it appears in Episode 3 that Obi-Wan's tabbards do not extend past the belt in back? ....or do they converge into a single piece? I noticed Qui-Gon and Anakin are noticeably there front and back. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Obi-Wan's tabbards never extended beyond the obi, in any of the prequel episodes.

Why do you think that is? Any ideas, and how are people in the assembly doing it? Let me rephrase that. I know that if you are replicating Obi-Wan, then it should not extend past. How are most people doing it in general is what I'm getting at.
Just curious.
Thanks

I personally have tunics that do it both ways....extending past and stopping at the belt/obi

My formal tunics have tabbards that stop at the sash and my generic ones go past my sash. Its easier to not worry about having un even or weird angled tabards if your only going to the sash with them

I think that they usually stitch them to the inside of the obi in the back.
