Order Ideas for 2011

Southern Order,
I would like to solicit your ideas for 2011 to see what we can do to first recruit newer members, and second to reactivate our current ones.

I have put in a request with the council to see if we can develop an order logo to identify ourselves. And of course with logos come merchandise...and EVERYONE loves merchandise...LOL

What else can we do? What else would you like to see done? Are there those willing to represent the Jedi Assembly at your local cons instead of the RL or the 501st?

Should we invest in some promotional materials that can be sent to order members if they are setting up a formal display for a con? (i.e. banner, cards, flyers etc)

Please lets discuss some ideas and see where it takes us.

I like the idea about creating a logo; however, I am not that gifted in that area. But, I would like to make a suggestion of T-shirts.

I would check to see if any members attend any SF or Anime conventions. Meeting in costume is always the best activity and what we're really about. Do we do anything special for Halloween? Not specifically SW, but good for costumes. And planning for CVI would be important activity now as well.

I would like to revisit this topic.......we need to make an honest effort in attempting to keep this club alive and active. We really need some ideas on how we as an order and TJA as a whole can regain our status and activity and draw our members back to participate with this organization out in the public.
