Finally! Obi-Wan has a vision with Qui-Gon in it in the cartoon. It isn't long, but the voice actor did a good job.
The story is not all that original to me with simple mindless story and action and stuff about the Chosen One. But it is in character for Jedi and fits with the whole balance problem they have. It also includes a very nice looking Jedi version of a yin-yang symbol in the scenery.

I saw this episode last night and again this morning and it is Liam Neesom on there! I had seen a blurb on a web site for the Clone wars fan page about a week ago that there was one of the actors from the Phantom Menace reprising thier role in the Clone Wars. It was just about 2 minutes long but it was in there...not sure if he's going to be in the second or third parts of the "OverLords" trilogy episode.

I wondered about Pernalla. Thanks for clarifying.

I should hope the voice actor did a good job. The voice actor IS Liam!! There's a thread on this elsewhere. Oh.
OK, I guess that's why he sounded just like Liam Neeson. They do re-run this episode on Sunday night, too.
I watch the cartoon regularly and get the DVDs because I like what they're doing with the animation ....... except for Obi-Wan's chiseled beard; I really wish they would do something about that. And when they do Jedi stuff, it's not too bad. Loved the episode with Ahsoka and the old Jedi lion looking for her lightsaber.

Sigh.......no more Qui-Gon this week though it is a 3-part episode. And they went to all that work to generate Qui-Gon in the animation, too. Surely Obi-Wan will need advice from his old master again? Well, maybe not. But it was nice while it lasted.

I think he is to make one more appearance. I thought it was this past episode, but I guess I was wrong

Yes, he turned up in the last episode. This time, Anakin got to see him..... though he may not remember, and the whole encounter was some kind of 'Force dream'. But we know that the Qui-Gon part was real (and Obi-Wan can still remember his Qui-Gon sighting ).
