I had the privilege of trooping last week's Clone Wars promotion in Atlanta in the "General Jacobi" gear... The Savage Oppress episodes were very cool, especially on the big screen, which does show Star Wars at its best. OK, a lot of people now know the stories and spoilers, since they are buzzing around online and featured in the new "Insider". So if you are a Clone Wars fan, or even if you're not, have a look at the trailer for the story arc that follows Savage Oppress... wish you could see this on the big screen... the illustration was stunning (especially on Felucia), whereas this picture quality is not. insidetv.ew.com/2010/12/14/star-wars-the-clone-wars-trailer-an-ew-exclusive/#more-28013

Anything set to John Williams' Duel of the Fates is exciting. That actually did look interesting. So... maybe I'll Netflix the seasons I've missed, Tivo this, and get caught up. Give it a second chance. Seattle did have an event. I did not apply because I was scheduled to be on-call. Two TJA members did participate (the women on the left) It's not the greatest photo, though: www.garrisontitan.com/THX1410/albums/userpics/10086/IMG_0513.JPG

I remember them! Glad to see we were well represented. Here's a taste of the Savage Oppress arc: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mcM7FFPRU4Kai, there are episodes for kids and ones that are more adult, so not everything may be to your taste. (They're not all to mine, but overall, I've enjoyed the series.) I really enjoyed the early episodes this season Clone Cadets and Arc Troopers, which were the prequel and sequel to Season One's Rookies, which is also a favorite. Supply Lines was a prequel to the Season One Ryloth Trilogy and has a bittersweet ending. After these, the political episodes started, which a lot of people haven't liked. Some were better than others... In Season Two, you'll see a flash of Vader in Brain Invaders... along with a touch of the Imperial March. And Cat and Mouse is the earliest episode in the CW timeline with some good suspense and some nods to the Original Trilogy. These are some of my favorites... you may have others you prefer. I will say that the animation is becoming more and more sophisticated... last season saw Mustafar; this season has Kamino and the ocean and the rain. Edit: How could I forget the Mandalore arc of Season 2? The best, to me, was "Voyage of Temptation".
