As you have heard, 10 miles south of Haiti's capital city was the epicenter for a 7.0 earthquake. The city is in ruins with much of its infrastructure collapsed.
The hospital in which my husband was born is rubble, and although much of his family immigrated to the US in the 1960's/70's, there are still a few cousins there, and many friends.
Just asking that if anyone had it in mind to donate to a humanitarian cause, the people of Port au prince need help now.

Let's keep the people of Haiti in our hearts and minds. Very importantly, they are in need of republic credits (and real money!). I just listned to the President's call for americans to help today and donated $25 to the official site: www.clintonbushhaitifund.org/
