I'm starting this thread as a place for us to show what we make that isn't Art and also are not costumes or props. This is the place to show the crafts you make with a Star Wars motif or theme.

I've started making journal/sketchbook covers for my etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6191513Of course, I had to make one for myself and it had to have a Jedi them: ![](http://images46.fotki.com/v1491/photos/4/42813/6331218/JediCover-vi.jpg) ![](http://images44.fotki.com/v1486/photos/4/42813/6331218/JediCover2-vi.jpg) I made glass pendants and made a new one today with an image of Yoda: ![](http://images44.fotki.com/v1486/photos/4/42813/6331218/yodapendant2-vi.jpg)

Great stuff, it's been awhile since I've had craft time, though, I've done Queen related crafts, I haven't done Star Wars related.

Awesome!!!
I need to get pictures of the SW magnets I did a few years ago. I LOVE crafts, especially SW-related. I like following Bonnie Burton's ideas on StarWars.com.

I've made the magnets Bonnie posted about, using the glass "stones". Here are some bags I made for a charity auction at our local con last year: ![](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3620/3320287832_306dbe94e2.jpg) Yoda bag front: ![](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3618/3458377778_d12374f573.jpg) Yoda bag back ![](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3577/3458377938_772ae6951d.jpg)

The source of the belief that Jedi healers wear blue is one line in one line in The Evil Experiment, Jedi Apprentice #12, page 12: "The Jedi Healer, Wanna Di Yuni, came toward them, dressed in the light blue tunic of a medic." Some have made creative medical props. To the extent that I've developed a persona, which is very little, I figured I would follow my real world training and expertise, which is "behavioral health", as it's called at my hospital. I saw this tutorial on how to make a book purse out of a DVD case. blog.craftzine.com/archive/2011/04/how-to_diy_book_clutch_from_dv.htmlIt gave me the idea of making a prop for my Jedi Healer: a Jedi Order version of the DSM... ![](http://images50.fotki.com/v1530/photos/4/42813/792776/01-vi.jpg) inside is just enough room for a few small items: ![](http://images53.fotki.com/v535/photos/4/42813/792776/02-vi.jpg) The cool thing about this project is that the "cover" can be switched out. You just slip in a new graphic.

Yes, I saw the book. It's been on sale at the Science Center during the exhibit. I looked through a copy that someone else bought but there wasn't enough in which I was interested for me to buy it.
