Adcon is now over. It was much better then last year . Took my mom for the 1st time & she loved it---wore her out (& she was in her wheelchair) but she was very happy. Both my mom's caregivers (Quicher & Carm) enjoyed it also. My mom is 85 with full blown dementia---but on this trip, her 1st in 4 yrs, it seems her going on trip memories woke up & she was more alert. My mom met & took pictures with: Ray Park (we had to do it twice because the 1st one was blurry he was so very helpful, as usual. He mentioned he might be doing a movie about Heros, so might not be at DC because of that. Dave Prowse -Dave looked very good & rested & Anthony Forrest---very nice & I had the chance to have a very nice conversation with him. & every costumer that Quicher could locate. She did miss some but it's hard to do them all. There seemed to be more costumers there this time. Now we're very very tentatively thinking of trying to get mom to Dragon Con----depends on what Quicher can do. Everyone was so very nice to mom & she smiled a lot.
As soon as I can get them up I will post pictures.
I did get a chance to hand out a few of my TJA cards to those who were interested in Jedi costuming. Some people did wonder where TJA was but I did explain there weren't really enough at the Convention to be able to do a table.

We're back home now. What normally takes 8 hours to get to Knoxville takes us 2 days with a stop over to sleep. We had to pick up my Aunt in Berea. Otherwise all went very well. I think we're all in recovery mode because on Monday it was a 12 hour day. With my mom aboard we have to make several stops along the way.
I forgot where to put mission photos so I'm posting the link here for those interested.
