Greetings To All, I can't remember where I saw the link but I have come across Outer Robes Web Site and I was curious if anyone knew about them. They look really good quality and such. Price is $139.95 for just the robe. I don't know how that stacks up to anyone else so I am asking. Thanks to you all for your continued input and advice. Humbly, DV

first I've seen of them, but the site looks good and so do the robes. I sent an email question to them and got a VERY fast response so they'll stay on my list for possible future orders.

The quality looks great, at least the pics. I do wonder how that price stacks up though.

I think the price is OK. For just 8 yards of wool fabric you could spend $60-$80, if it's on sale. Add to that the labor to make the robe, $139 is not a bad price.

Bought one of these today to save time and well my sewing skills fall far behind I'll stick to making light sabers.

They look pretty good, the only bad thing is about the standard sizing. You get no say in how long the sleeves are or the length overall other than just short, med and long.
If you want a great looking robe, you can also try Mystik Merchant. They tailor the sleeves and the length to your exact measurement and ship within a day or so of getting your order!
I have bought two of their robes and they are excellent for a cotton twill robe...

That's OK. When you can get a robe, but ask.

You can always make a thing smaller or shorter, but not bigger.
