Tandy now has a small belt pouch that would do very well for a Jedi pouch. For $10 (plus shipping) that's a pretty good deal. I don't know if the flower pattern you see in the picture is on the leather in the kit. Probably not; you would probably have to get your own dye as well, and you do have to have the setter for the snap. But best to ask.

It's not on the leather... they do include the pattern, but it has to be tooled. The kit is just the plain leather. I've made a couple of these, and my current set up uses one along with two small ribbed pouches (like the comlink pouch but a bit larger.) For the ladies, it's large enough to hold a very small cosmetic bag with a small brush or comb, a lipstick, etc. I believe Jedi Kai and Granny-Wan have made this one too. It's a great little kit, especially to get the "feel" for working with leather.

Exactly what Kryy said. It's not actually new. I made a couple of these about 2 years ago. I think they are just about perfect for the generic Jedi.

I have made one of these also. You need a couple special tools like a snap setter, but you can order those from Tandy as well. The tools you need are listed in the item description, and they are cheap.

It's quick and easy, it was the first thing I ever made! www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/department/Kits/44345-00.aspx?feature=Product_135You have to have dye, finish, and a snap setter. I've also made this: www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/department/Kits/4104-00.aspx?feature=Product_39 which is more decorative than useful, although it will hold a tube of chapstick or some quarters... (for the Temple Coke Machine Also, I took the cigarette case kit and turned it into this: With the addition of a snap, and screw posts. Might write a tutorial on that one.
