This web site for these boots-- very similar to Obi-Wan's -- was posted on the Padawan's Guide web page. The boots are about $60

I'd consider getting some myself, but they only have men's sizes 8 to 15. Too big for me. But remember, if you're a woman, take your size and subtract 1 1/2 and you'll have your equivalent men's size.

A couple of months ago I had ordered boots from 'Motorcowboy' and they were pretty pricey, including the custom charges. The boots look great and they fit like a glove. ;D I'm kinda picky when it comes to costuming but I'm more than happy with the results. The color of the leather, style etc., is close to Obi-Wan's. ;D I saw the website for the $60.00 boots and I plan on buying a pair for another up coming Jedi. If anyone has a pair of those boots , please give me some insight on the quality of the boot.

Well, here's a new thing, not available yet, but Rubies is doing licensed Star Wars boots, Jedi, StormTrooper, Black Uniform (didn't see them, so my guess is either Han or Empire Officer) more as I hear it.

I'll be seeing the boots at Toy Fair in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know what I think of them, I figure they can't be any worse than the other economy costume boots that I've seen, at least they'll be LFM lic. for what that's worth.

Has anyone seen these in person? I'd love a first hand opinion.

the material is similar quality to the brown pleather costume boots that we've all seen at one time or another. I think its the same manufacturer. (funtasma).
these ones have a reinforced heel (by way of decorative piece added to the outside of the boot); they also have an INFINITELY better sole. where the other ones are flat & hard with an almost plastic feel -- these are much better rubber that grips the road with REAL "lugs", on a sole that looks like it belongs on a work boot.
the straps are attached to the boot at the zipper so they can't slip down or fall off. no problems here.
my only gripe is the spats, which are too stiff to hang properly down the sides of the foot. when you step, they fan out sideways and create 'wings'. but when you're standing straight they look fine. if they were made of heavier material (and/or not so stiff) then they would look better in motion.
also if they weren't so shiny then the boots themselves wouldn't look so cheap (heh). like I said the material is the same as the standard pleather costume boots so they have a bit of a plastic look to them. (but once they get a little dusty from walking outdoors then this is moot).
overall they're a good buy for the money. I only paid $40 after the paypal promotion they ran last month. I would have paid twice that for boots of this quality.
I mean, they're not motorcowboy-quality, but then.. what do you expect for only $60?
---> these FAR exceeded my expectations, given the price. I'd buy 'em again.
