Lookin' great! I agree, emitter up (in this case) will work best, as that is where the switch is at - less distance for the switch cutout.
I can't wait to see it mounted on the bandoleer!
Question for ya though: did you do the shaft curve first or the bottom edge first?

Oh shaft curve, definitely. - Measured around the circumference of the aluminum tube, minus the half inch opening - Cut the sintra to size - Dipped one half of the sheet in boiling water - Quick wrapped it around the tube, rolling it to shape - Held the tube and the part of the sintra that I just curved, and dipped the other half in the water - Roll-shaped the other half of the main curve - Re-dipped the very edges and rolled/pressed them 'til perfect - Slid the sintra down off the end of the tube about 3/4" and dipped that end - Rolled at 45° angle to get the semi-closed end - Sanded all the edges smooth And yeah, it draws to reverse-grip pretty quickly, as long as I grab the bando with my left hand as I draw. ~ Vonnor
